Happy Birthday Kyle!

I had a homework assignment for Carter's teacher. I had to make an acrostic poem for my boy that they will hang in the classroom. I think it turned out pretty good. He woke up in the morning and said, "Mom, it's all the things I like"! Mission accomplished!
This is such a cute picture. Teague laughs and laughs when Kyle kisses his neck!
They were singing and dancing to "Bye Bye Bye"! I'm so proud!
One more picnic! It was such a gorgeous day, we had to get out of the house!
I hope it stays pretty nice for September. I love a good picnic with the kiddos.
She has the cutest smile! Sorry these captions are so short. I must get Carter to bed!
This is Teague's favorite thing about going to volleyball practice - sitting in the ball bin!
I love this picture! He really was almost asleep!
It was so nice we even had one more sprinkler day! Carter seems to not be able to look at me for more than two seconds.
My girl doing some homework. She does about three pages a day - she's so smart!
Dana was in this weekend - the girls had a lot of fun together!
Kolt loved Carter! He just chased him around and around and around!
Miss Boo is obsessed with her playlist on my IPod. It was so hard to get these out of her ears after she fell asleep. She kept waking up everytime I turned the music off!
We started dance again today. She knows 3 people in her class and was very happy to be there.
She got to demonstrate this for her dance class. She's very flexible!
Happy 33rd Birthday Kyle! They love singing Happy Birthday to their Daddy!

New camera!

I have barely any pictures from this week. I got a new camera right in the middle, but then I was gone Friday and Saturday to Billings for volleyball. Oh well, gotta do the blog on Sunday night. Going to volleyball practice everyday with me wears these kids out - Ave and Carter do like to jog and condition with the girls! Ave watched a few minutes of PBS kids on the IPad, and she was out!
This might be the dirtiest shirt in the whole world. Teague spilled juice, fudgesicle, and chicken noodle soup on it that day. It was impressive. Luckily, he wasn't seen out in public after the spills!
My Carterman on his first day of 1st grade! He really likes his teacher so far, and he got moved up on the behavior chart for standing still in line after lunch. He's already got about 6 kids to play Superhero Squad with him at recess too. He's Ironman of course.
This was my first picture with the new camera. Looks good! He's been liking all the big books on the bookshelf in the back.
Teague really was happy to be wearing the raincoat - I must have caught a bad moment here. They both love these raincoats. It was raining when we went to pick up Carter at school, so they wanted to wear these. Mom and Dad bought them when Carter and Lando were 4 I think. They were a good purchase!
He was wearing his Superman pajamas and playing with his Superman toy. He thought it was cool to see how well they matched!
Ave always has the best hair in the mornings!
Carter made a Transformer out of Legos. It was really cool; he could make the arms and legs move! I was pretty proud of him - I love that real smile too!
This is Teague's attempt at winking! He is so funny. We had a dance party with all the Lego Avengers the other night. He thought Hulk, Hawkeye, and the gang would be great dancers.
Ave has been loving music lately. That's my girl! I made her a playlist of about 35 songs on my IPod, and she listens to it everyday. I'll have to get a video of she and Teague singing "Teagie Pie Honey Bunch" to "Sugar Pie Honey Bunch". It makes my day!
Lastly, I made my usual attempt to get all 3 to smile at the same time. Carter is trying to get Teague to look up at me. One of these days a good one has to happen! Hope everyone has a lovely week!

Tomorrow is Carter's 1st day of 1st grade!

Not too many pictures again, but there are still some cute ones. They've been very into cooking again lately. They borrow my stainless steel bowls and stir their play food around loudly. They also make smoothies and salads. It's nice there is still something they can all play together. Chef Carter here was really enjoying himself!
Teague was being sad with his butt up in the air. Ave was trying to help - I love how she looks so pleased with herself here!
Ave was quite helpful with our little garden this year. She was very good about washing our tomatoes too.
These little bums totally stole our bed the other night. We let them because Ave and Teagie weren't feeling too good. They both have little colds which they've passed on to me. I just really hope Carter doesn't catch it!
Teague likes to get out whatever he can find in Mom's little bathroom cupboard and use it as drums. He was singing some "Thunderstruck" while he played.
We actually haven't been to Dairy Queen in a while - crazy right? They enjoyed their treats on a nice summer night on the porch.
This makes me laugh - Teague was saying "summer!" really loud!
Yesterday was gorgeous! Today it's smoky and gray. We had the sprinkler out as usual and these two played and played forever. Carter (like his Dad) thought it was too hot. He would just lay on a bed all day if I let him.
I love Teague's walk here - he's such a goofball. Ave liked to crawl under and lay flat to see if the water would actually get her.
Then Avery taught him to stick his butt in the water!
They really get along well. They were having a good laugh about something here - I can't remember what it was!
They were going to hold hands and run through together. Also, you can see how big Ave's bikini is. It's bound up in the back with a ponytail. Looking good! Hope everyone enjoyed their Labor Day Weekend. Ours was nice and quiet which was fine with me!

Almost school...

I don't have a lot of pictures from this week. With volleyball practices twice a day, we were pretty busy! I can't believe school starts in 8 days! Anyway, here is my goofy little Teague. These were his sunglasses. He's really just a happy kid!
Avery really really loves her little brother. She can absolutely terrorize him sometimes, but it's far outweighed by how good she is too him. She will play absolutely anything with him, and he loves her for it!
On Friday we had our purple white scrimmages up at Butte High. I thought our volleyball teams looked pretty good (fingers crossed)! Afterwards, we watched a little football and had some barbeque at Naranche Stadium. It was a beautiful night for it, and these 4 were super good.
This is what a day in the gym will do to a 4 year old. That was a tired little Boo!
On Saturday, Landon was getting ready to head back to North Dakota. He and Ave played a little baseball first. They are very similar I must say. I feel bad we didn't do anything too exciting when Landon was here. They did all have fun just being together though.
I love this picture! Carter and Ave went with Papa and Landon to meet Erica in Billings. They stayed overnight, swam in the hotel pool, and got to go to Chuckie Cheese's. Erica and Lando had their first day of school today. We did some Facetime earlier, and it sounds like it went well. We miss them!
Brownie face and I had a night home by ourselves. We played some Ninja Turtles, Iron Man, and Big Boots. He enjoyed himself I think!
He has a lot of Octonauts toys now. It's a show that we love on Disney Jr. It's all about animals in the ocean. He played with them in his "blue ocean" bath for a long time!
He was putting his feet on the edge and lifting his whole body out of the water. It was quite a sight! When he'd fall back in, he'd laugh and laugh!
Abb and Jord's dad Ken won a safety award at work and got two free nights at Fairmont. Yay Ken! Abb and Jord invited us out there, so on Sunday night from 7-9:30 we had a blast! The fires were on by the outside pool, the slide was really dark, it was awesome! I had to get a few pictures before we left. All smiles here are great except my Carterman.
Now Teagie isn't looking! Oh well, we tried.
Thank you Fairmont! It wore them out! Unfortunately they all fell asleep on our bed while watching a movie (Teague is wearing Ave's glass slippers and is holding a marker of course). They were not easy to move!
Aunt Terri saw an article on pastys in the paper on Sunday and had a craving for them. Fine by me! She had a lot of the prepwork already done when I got done with practice. These two were helpful though. They helped make dough and cut some potatoes.
This one was not so helpful. The pile of flour he had did keep him occupied while we rolled out our pastys though. I figure you have to let a 2 year old just make a mess sometimes!
They are done, and they are delicious! Sorry to make everyone jealous...but that's what we did today! Hope everyone had a good week :)

July - August 2019

My friend Michelle was in town from Las Vegas. Her brother and sister-in-law always have a fun barbecue for everyone here in town. Dana, Jas...
