Our strawberries are tough! Teague and I went out and brought in 8 more of them the other day from our sad looking garden. The frost last week destroyed everything except for the eggplant, strawberries, rosemary, and cabbage.
He ate 7 of them and let me have one. What a guy!
Another run home while I drove next to them. This time they all ran!
They always stop and see these two dogs - Screwball and Knothead. They are some kind of terrier and are so cute and friendly!
I guess that jog wore a guy out. He fell asleep partially under the coffee table!
On Saturday we played Skyview at home. Their head coach has had breast cancer twice. We always do a "Pack the Place in Pink" game whenever they come to Butte. It was very successful, and we got to take some balloons home too. Here is a blurry picture of Teague tackling them.
He's a goofball!
These two were helping Papa bring some water to his classroom. It's always fun to ride on the trainer's carts.
Ave did a little dinosaur excavating the next morning.
I love the way they look in these goggles!
Ave has been teaching Teague the proper way to do a somersault.
Success!
It has been so gorgeous this September (minus the one day of snow). Teague decided it was a lovely day to make some mud pies.
Ave got in on the action also.
Carter was busy pretending to tranquilize some dinosaurs.
Two silly smiles!
Ave cooled off by dipping her head in the sprinkler. I love the water drop hanging off her nose!
Teague stole some of Avery's Barbie makeup she had brought over. His clumpy eyebrows look terrific!
Ave's cooking masterpiece.
Doesn't it look appetizing?
Carter has been into the VTech dinos again. He got a new one the other day - McRoar the Gigantosaurus. I have a feeling they will be on his Christmas list!
Lastly, Kyle's 34th birthday was on Tuesday. I was in Great Falls, Carter had football, and Ave had dance unfortunately. He picked some chicken curry wraps for dinner last night, and we had cake after the kids had baths. Happy Belated Birthday to this great Dad!

Fall activities!
Carter wanted to run home from school the other day. I got a picture of him while I drove next to him. He's a goofball!
Teague took some pictures at practice the other day. The varsity was nice enough to pose for him. They are a good group of girls. Everyone of them is so nice to my kids :)
It snowed here on Wednesday! Luckily it was all gone by that afternoon, but it did kill my tomato plants :(
Teague seemed pretty happy to go out in his shark hat - he has such a cute smile!
Before the haircut!
After! He looks like such a big boy!
We had a good time at the football game on Friday night - unfortunately Butte High lost. Naranche is such a cool stadium though.
After a long volleyball tournament 8am-6:30pm, Kyle and I met some friends at the East Side. His face just made me laugh here.
On Sunday, it was gorgeous! 75 degrees! We decided to go for a hike. Teague always enjoys climbing a boulder.
Carter decided to wear cleats. It was probably a good idea since he loves to run down the loose sand by the railroad tracks.
My girl is a little mountain goat. She is very sure footed.
Getting some shade with Papa.
Ave, Papa, and I went higher than Kyle and the boys. Look at that awesome view. Teague and Carter said they just couldn't go any further!
Ave and Laney on the trail right below me as we were going down. Laney loves hiking with us. She goes back and forth between all of us just wagging her tail.
A quick family picture!
Ave had her first day of tumbling today. Jordan is her teacher, and they both said they had a great day!
Carter had his first flag football game today too. It was pretty hilarious! Neither team scored, but he said he had a lot of fun. That's all that matters!
Teague was a little tired - ha ha!
Lastly, I managed to get 2 big zucchinis out of the garden before the frost hit. I made some zucchini cakes tonight, and they were tasty. I love gardening!

School days!
School started on Tuesday! It was a very busy morning, but we managed to get a few pictures. Teague started preschool! He had lots of fun coloring, reading books, singing his ABC's, and going for a walk on the trail. He's starting to get a little better with the Pull-Ups too!
Ave just had a meet and greet with her teacher that day. We were at school for about a half an hour. Her teacher is very nice, and she already has many friends. She brought home a folder this week, and she was on the "super star" chart every day!
Carterman started 2nd grade (he wanted a little hair gel that morning)! I can't believe it. He loves playing football at recess, and he says his teacher is very nice too. He did tell me that she always tells their class "to do their homework". Harsh right? He and Ave like seeing eachother at recess and lunch also!
One picture outside before we go! They were so good and very excited! I worked very hard on the lawn this year. We have thick grass, flowers, a blueberry bush, a "red devil" bush, and a painted garage. It looks much nicer!
After the meet and greet, she posed in her dress a few times for me. She got this from the Easter Bunny and had never worn it. It's so cute...and she's a ham!
One more pose. She's something else! She wore her One Direction shirt for the first full day!
Laney likes to lay right in between them when we first get up. She's their little buddy :)
I was in Billing Friday and Saturday for volleyball. Here is one from this morning though. Carter and Teague nicely playing Big Boots together. Ave "photobombing", which she does very well!
Outside at Papa's house. His fertilizer kicked in in September I guess! Carter was pretending to mini golf out there.
Ave and I planted some nasturtiums kind of late in June. We weren't sure how they would do, but they look pretty great. My Grandma Vivian always loved how bright they were.
Lastly, time for some airplane rides after a bath. One goofy kid!

Last one! Carter is taking a shower as I type this. We have a full week of school this week. I hope they keep enjoying themselves, and we keep having some lovely weather!

School starts tomorrow!
I can't believe school and preschool start tomorrow! We had a quiet week around here - lots of rain. We had a lot of fun though too. Cold weather = footie pjs! Footie pjs = filling them with stuffed animals and laughing so hard!
A nice side view of the stuffing.
I took this right when she was falling over! She couldn't really bend one leg!
Her hair always makes for some good action photos!
Carter's were the best! His are size 8 so we had plenty of room to stuff them full of blankets and stuffed animals!
This picture kills me! He ran away while I was trying to take a picture - this is the end result!
Carter put Laney's duck in his shirt, and she was going crazy. She was all over him!
Drunk birds! They eat these berries outside in the alley and fly into my parents' house!
As soon as the sun came out it was sprinkler time!
We went to the Y to pick up Carter's soccer pictures and sign him up for Flag Football. Why not do a little swimming while we are there?
Thursday night they showed Frozen up at the Original Mine Yard. It was so fun. The little kids singing every song was hilarious! We brought snacks and Jordan, her friend Kaity, and Terri met us up there.
How neat is that? We will have to do that again next summer for sure!
My kids apparently watch too much Chopped on Food Network with me. They decided to have a cooking contest the other day. Carter made garlicky scrambled eggs with dinosaur shaped cinnamon toast and a garden tomato. Ave made three cheese quesadillas with black olives and a dollop of sour cream/lime sauce!
It turned out to be a draw! How could we pick a winner?
Lastly, today I met my friend Alicia at Silver Bow. We had a nice 2 hour visit. All the kids got along great! Brooklyn is such a nice little girl, and Bryson is a sweet baby. He turned 8 months yesterday and is such a smiley guy.
