Very random pictures

We really didn't do a whole lot this week. We didn't take many pictures consequently. Here are some from last night though. We set up the tons of Christmas stuff at my parents house, and the boys were in heaven. They are very into Christmas this year - Santa, Rudolph, trees, snowmen, and especially lights are all very exciting! Carter found a horse ornament on the tree that I cannot get him to not touch.

The boys had some tasty sorbet after they got their pajamas on. It's kind of nice because they have to work to get it out of the container. It's so frozen that they can't really make a huge mess! They look awfully cute.
Guess what? They were saying cheese here! They are very good little hams for the camera.
We unwrapped all the ornaments and made quite a nice pile of paper towels. Laney thought we were making a little bed for her. She's a good dog.
Carterman is so big and strong. Look at that barrel chest and those guns! He was giving his Blue Guy a ride around the house in the Lego wagon.
After all that work, he felt that he deserved a ride. Sometimes I look at these pictures and can't believe how much he looks like his Daddy (which is a good thing)!
We took a nice little horsey ride around the house the other day. He doesn't seem to care that I have a big old belly hanging down!
Kyle and I went to Missoula to do a little shopping, and we couldn't say no to these pajamas for little Kyle. They were an XL in the boys section, and they have awesome running robots on them. He wanted me to get him footie pajamas last year (I think he was joking), and these were a whopping $12. The amusement was well worth it.
Kyle can barely sit down in them. I think they can never be dried, or he'll rip them. I still think it was worth it just for these pictures though. Crazy Uncle Kyle is always good for a laugh.
This reminds me of the Dr. Suess story "Hop on Pop", but this is "Hop on Poppa". The boys always have a great time jumping and crawling all over Grandpa. Uncle Kyle is helping of course.
Carter has discovered that his gloves are pretty cool. They are kind of big on his hands, but he'll wear them (sometimes). His hat really doesn't match at all, but I don't care. It looks so cute on him.
He has the cheesiest grin ever! This one is especially good. The eyes closed always adds something!
Carter really enjoys brushing his teeth with his Cookie Monster toothbrush. He doesn't really like Lando's toothpaste though. I'll have to bring some over. I love this face though.

Thanksgiving Week

I really don't have a whole lot of pictures from this week, but there are some funny ones. Carter wore a onesie for the first time in a long time yesterday. It was quite cute on him. He's showing off his shapely legs while wearing Jordan's shoe and spinning in Uncle Kyle's chair. Good times!
He thought he was pretty cool in his stripes. He kept laying on Uncle Kyle's pillows and yelling for him to look. He thinks he's being pretty sneaky when he lays on other people's pillows.
I just had to take this picture because I've never seen this happen before... and I might not ever again. Kyle and Kyle doing the dishes!
Carter was holding Abbey's earphones, so he thought he should sing a song. He was making a very silly noise which is coming out of this very silly face.
Carter is a big soup fan. He climbed right up on Grandpa and ate a whole bowl of delicious turkey soup. Don't worry, he didn't share the beer.
This is just a cute picture of Carter giving his pal Blue Guy a ride around the living room. He's very nice about making sure Blue has a good time. We have three blue guys right now because they get so dirty - I'm afraid we are going to need a fourth. The oldest is basically a rag doll.
I don't know what was going on here. All I know is that Carter was playing with Jordan and Chelbie and laughing loudly. They are such good little helpers.
This is one of a few Thanksgiving pictures. Carter had a big meal of mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls, and turkey. So of course, he had to share some pie for dessert with Grandpa.
He looked quite handsome is his pinstripes. Grandma and Grandpa Barsness gave him the cutest holiday outfit. He refused to wear the blazer and tie though - maybe at Christmas!
This is the only picture I could get of him sitting still! He was a crazy little man after he woke up from his nap. He looked good though. Callie, Nate, and Paul stopped by when he was getting dressed. They got to see his skinny little belly! It was very nice to see them.
The goofballs got into the Little Swimmers the other day - just to make a mess. They ended up making very nice hats though. Plus the boys sort of watched Finding Nemo this weekend, so they kept running around yelling "Nemo!" and pointing to their heads.
Carter in his cool Nemo "hat". He looks so silly, which he is.

Landon got an "Old MacDonald" book for his birthday, so now they boys can each read one. It is quite amusing to hear them both singing "E-I-E-I-O" at different times. Landon has become obsessed with songs lately: Baby Beluga, Old MacDonald, Bingo, and Mary had a little lamb are faves.
Just one last picture of Carter having fun in the bath. I'm just so happy he likes the bath again. Those two are crazy in there. Erica and I usually end up completely soaked.

Landon's 2!

We had a big day yesterday. It was Landon's birthday party (he turned 2 Friday), and then we got to see one of my best friends - Dana - and her cute kids. It was the first time I've got to see Madelyn, who's four months old. Here is a cute little family picture: Dana, Jada, and Madelyn.
Madelyn was such a cutie. She has the same red hair as her big sister and is so smiley and happy. I'm glad they stopped by before they went back to Kalispell.
Dad - the weirdo - was using one of Landon's new presents as a big helmet. He was saying, "Erica, I am your father". This was from Aunt Kelsie and the boys had a good time with it later than night.
This is Landon and his Momma opening the present from Kyle, Carter, and I. I thought that card was really cute. He got spoiled - like you should on your 2nd birthday!
Carter and Connor had to get right in there and see every present. Carter thought this train from Grandma and Grandpa was a wonderful toy!
Landon thought his cake was the best part of the day. He absolutely loved the Spongebob and Patrick plastic toys that were on top of it. He played with them all night long.
Landon was very good about opening his presents. He got a little bored, but he did look at everything. He's checking out his new flash light and cell phone here.
Connor makes me laugh. One time he walked over to the table and said, "Grandma, I need two dollars". He also kept telling us he was five. I can't remember what he was doing in this picture!
Jordan brought her friend Chelbie to the party. She's a nice girl. They were both very good helpers with the four crazy boys running around.
Abbey brought her friend Alexis. They also were very good to have around. Erica and I actually got to just sit, eat, and visit for awhile. It was lovely!
Austin had a really good time playing Skee Ball. This is kind of an action photo because he was too busy to stop and smile. All the boys were very good though.
Carter got a nice kiss from his Daddy. He did not want to leave the playroom to go eat cake.
Landon doesn't like when you actually turn the rides on, he'd rather just sit on them and pretend. He was quite funny on this crocodile. He made some chomping sounds at me!
Here's my crazy little pizza face running around. I don't think he sat still for more than a minute. At least he took a piece of pizza on the run with him.
Landon really loves his Poppa. He gave him a little hug for no reason at all.
I watched Lando on Saturday while Erica was at work. He was very goofy in the morning before Kyle and Carter got there. He tried on about four different hats for me.
Erica made some cupcakes on Thursday night for Landon to take to daycare on Friday. Carter and Landon ate the extras!
Landon was singing "Happy Birthday" to himself here. He's kind of dancing back and forth.
This is a funny picture! Not much else to say here.
Carter tried his best to get every crumb and sprinkle off the table.
We went to McDonalds Thursday night since it was just Erica, me, and the boys. Luckily Jordan and Terri decided to join us. Jordan goes through all the play stuff with them. She's a lifesaver. This is not the best picture, but Landon's big old smile is so cute.
Carter still won't go through the tunnels, but he likes to climb the stairs and jump. I love his shirt here too - I saw it at Kmart and thought it was cute. It's got a Mommy, Daddy, and dog down at the bottom of it.
I can't look at this picture without laughing. Landon really enjoyed the brownie mix the other night. I can just hear him saying "Cheese" when I see it.
Carter and Laney were having a good time playing together last week. I like how they are both sitting on Grandpa. Carter loves to throw stuff for Laney - he just has trouble getting it back from her!
Just one more beautiful grin from Landon. He is so silly. I can't believe he's two years old!

July - August 2019

My friend Michelle was in town from Las Vegas. Her brother and sister-in-law always have a fun barbecue for everyone here in town. Dana, Jas...
