Getting so big

Carter absolutely loves eating his toes now, especially while chilling on Terri's lap. I think it's so funny how babies can bend themselves in half.
I tried not to pass on my food prejudices to Carter, but it must have happened. Peas are the first food Carter has not enjoyed. We'll try them again later this week, just in case.
This is Carter's new way to sleep - feet crossed. He does it all the time now; it makes me laugh.
We tried out the swing in the front yard yesterday. He was enjoying it at first, but then he started making some serious faces. I found out minutes later that he was filling his diaper!

This picture is kind of blurry but so funny! Laney was kissing Carter's face, and he thought it was hilarious. He just looks like he's laughing so hard.
I just like this little smile. That's really all there is to say here - he's a cutie.
We had to put a picture of this fantastic onesie up for our buddy Carolyn. It's got a cute brontasaurus that peeks over the other shoulder. So cute!
We had to put on a hat for our walk down to Hastings; it was a very warm day on Sunday. He didn't seem to mind it at all - that bodes well for winter.
Here's my silly little guy at the Skyview gym in Billings. He was such a good boy even though it was 100 degrees in there. He was laughing at Mr. Ries calling him "Jimmy" Carter.
Those road trips do wear a guy out. He was passed out on the hotel bed until about 10 the next morning.
Kyle found some really cool hats in the mall that were 75% off. He couldn't decide between all the awesome ones there though, so he didn't get one.
We stopped by Kathi and Mike's new beautiful house in Bozeman. Cute little Josh showed us many toys: a vaccuum, a broom, and this awesome light saber. I got lots of pictures of him, but this one is the best. He's always on the move!
Carter was very worn out after his first day at "Tater Tot Academy". His daycare lady said he is the most mellow baby she's ever watched. She also said he loves to play, eats very well, and doesn't like to take long naps!
My buddy (Melissa Swanson) Ritter stopped by with her pretty little girl, Madisyn. She was having a good time playing with a ball. She's going to be a basketball star like her Mom!
Carter tried to play with Madi, but he was too tired. He fell asleep on the exercise ball with his Daddy. Ironically, he's wearing an outfit from Ritter.
Grandpa put Carter's socks on his ears one evening (who knows why - it's just Dad!). Jordan decided he looked like Shrek, so we had to get a picture.

Be sure to check out his new videos below the Erica post. I'm not sure why they ended up down there.
