Random stuff

First of all, let me say a big "Congratulations" to my sister Kelsie and Joe up in Alaska. They welcomed a 9lb 6oz baby boy today - Lincoln Anthony Weber! I'm so happy for them and glad my parents get to meet the little guy while they are there. Can't wait to see more pictures of the handsome man!

We went for a little walk on the trail last weekend when the weather was decent. We saw lots of ducks diving into the water, which they all thought was awesome. The only bad part was trying to hold on to "Mr Independent" aka Teague William Barsness who thought he could lean way out over the bridge. He thinks he's a big boy.
At the Doctor's office. Teague felt fine! Ave had a sinus infection and Carter (ha ha - he was smiling, must had caught him at the wrong time) had pinkeye. Now Teague has croup though. I was hoping the sickness had skipped us this winter!
She wore this to pick up the boys from school. I made her put clothes over it, but when we were done - it was dance time!
I love a good Spaghetti face, especially if it's bath night!
Not sure why he put a McDonalds Halloween bucket on his head right before he fell asleep, but it's quite a cool look.
Is there really anything more fun than a roll of wrapping paper to a child? Maybe bubble wrap, but still, it's always fun.
Ave asked Uncle Kyle to draw her an octopus wearing a Batman mask. Not bad, Uncle Kyle, not bad!
Auntie Terri took Avers, Teague, and I to lunch on Monday at McDonalds. Teague picked of course. They had a great time as you can see!
Nice fedora Teague - he can totally pull it off!
Uncle Kyle is a fun uncle. He watched them while Kyle and I ran to Walmart one night. They had lots of fun being pelted by pillows and watching parts of Spaceballs.
Another sleeping baby picture. He's just so cute!
I told them it's been awhile since I got a nice picture of all 3 of them. Their Daddy did some strange dance moves behind me and voila! A good picture on the very first try!
Carter is getting to be such a big boy. He read this Secret Spy Mater book to Kyle last night. I can't believe how smart he and Lando are.
Walking home from school. Teague really wanted to hold Carter's hand. Carter told him he had a good grip!
Puzzle time. My little sicko children and I have lots of fun doing puzzles and arts and crafts at home. Ave's into cutting out hearts and giving them to me right now. I love when they're so sweet!
Last but not least, a monkey in a tree. She's quite the climber!

Quiet and cake

I know we have a bath picture almost every week, but he's so happy when he's in the tub. I mean, look at this face! I saw one of his old daycare teachers at a basketball game, and she told me she misses his dimply smiles. He is quite handsome.
Auntie Erica had her birthday dinner on Teague's birthday before she went to North Dakota to visit Sean over the long weekend. It was delicious! We had salmon, risotto, stuffed tomatoes, and roasted squash and zucchini...yum. We also had apple pie with 29 candles in it! Happy Birthday Urka (as Carter would say)!
We had a little chocolate cake for Teagie man too. He's a bit spoiled. He had his birthday cake the weekend before, he brought cupcakes to daycare for his friends, and he had cake after dinner. We find it hard to say no to this guy.
I think he was saying that he's 2! I still can't believe it. It goes way too fast. You can also see his shark shoes that Grandma Burgman got him. He loves them and has worn them to bed all week. I tried to take them off in his sleep a couple times, but he will not let me. They're awesome!
Happy Valentine's Day! He said he was going to draw a heart. He looked so cute in his new shirt from Abb, Jord, and Terri. It was hilarious!
These boys had a great day at school. No homework, a Valentine's party, a Madasgar movie, and lots of candy! They looked good in red!
Poor Teague had too much fun at his Valentine's party. He fell asleep at 7 o'clock. Boo nicely played with his hair to try and wake him up.
He, of course, woke up the minute we got home and stayed up until 2 am. I had to get one picture of the whole outfit.
I tried to give Lane a haircut. It didn't work very well, but at least her ears are nice and short with no mats now. She looked like a puppy again.
This boy is just silly. He was having a lot of fun bouncing around on this ball. Kels, notice the fishing set next to him. He's quite the fisherman (thanks)!
Teague got this apron and chef's hat from Grandma and Grandpa Barsness. It's so cute! He let Ave wear it while they made flamingo sandwitches at their restaraunt. Ave also made a wonderful song called, "A Good Chef Never Gives Up!" - it's pretty catchy!
Last but not least, my pretty girl. She was wearing this beautiful shirt over a dance outfit to walk down to the school and pick up Carter and Landon. I made her put pants on, which she didn't think she needed. I haven't picked out clothes for her since she was 2. She has a mind of her own (understatement of the millenium)!

Teagie's party!

First a couple bath pictures - is this the cheesiest smile you've ever seen? Oh my Carterman!
My blue eyed boy now. He looks kind of robust here! He is a whopping 23 lbs already...and in 18 month clothes!
Ave always sleeps so sweetly. I just have to take a picture sometimes!
She is also the best sister a kid could ask for. She really can't get enough of Mr. Teague. She is always hugging and kissing him.
4 members of our volleyball team had a night out together. It was very fun! Thanks to my husband - our once a year vball night is pretty awesome!
Mr. Teagie Pie is going to be 2 on Wednesday! I can't believe it! He had his party on Sunday at Silver Bow of course. It was the busiest I've ever seen it, but we still had a good time. The pizza was delicious as usual!
He's been a little cranky lately (teeth), but he was surprisingly happy. He loved his cake and opening presents!
He is a big fan of Mickey Mouse still, so that's what we went with. And they wrote his name in orange, that's his favorite color!
I think he just bit a hunk of wax off his 2 candle here!
Miss Boo made us get the Minnie surfboard piece for her. She always gets her way!
Mason is just so nice. I love hanging out with him. Carter photobombed the picture!
These two are always buddies when they are together!
Mmm...brothers and cupcakes.
He loved opening presents, and these two were right there to help him with every one! This jackhammer from Erica and Landon was hilarious!
This drum from Auntie Terri, Abb, and Jord was his favorite. He had to play it right away!
His buddy Jordan was kind enough to take him on the carousel for me so I could take a picture. Ave is giving high 5's to Carter in the background.
Liam was being silly and making noises with his hand over his mouth. He's such a cutie - those blond curls kill me.
Abbey Jean the Dance Machine and Teagie - he was very happy when they arrived from dance.
Lastly a cousins and Auntie picture. I didn't get pictures of any of the Grandparents or my Aunts and Uncles (oops), but thank you all so much for coming! Especially Grandma and Grandpa Barsness travelling from Sunburst in the snow, we appreciate all of our wonderful family!

Another week of fun

Teague loves accessories as you can see. He wears that Ice Age watch almost everyday. Any sunglasses he can find will work too - he makes me laugh!
Ave calls this her sleeping hat. About once or twice a week, I go into her room at night to give her a kiss and find her like this. She's a cute little thing.
He has quite the cheesy grin. I love his new coat from Grandma and Grandpa Burgman. So many different shades of blue!
The boys were invited to a birthday party for their friend Darby out at Fairmont. They went to preschool with her, and she's in Carter's kindergarten class. We had a good time out there!
Ave came with me. She's been asking about Fairmont for about two months now. She also knew Darby from preschool, and Darby was so nice about her being there. There's Lando in the background! There were 7 boys and 5 girls that went. They had a blast!
This is a cute picture. Carter looks a little silly, but that's okay. They couldn't make it until pizza time, had to have a delicious pretzel first.
I love this picture. Miss Boo loves Laney. She's very good about cuddling up and giving her some hugs.
They have been very into look and find books lately, which is great. I'm going to have to find some difficult ones, these are pretty easy. Also, notice Ave's hair. She wanted a "Mulan bun" on top of her head!
Teague is obsessed with this Mickey Mouse one. He brings it out every single night!
Carter, who is usually my lazy child, wanted to go for a walk on Sunday. He, Poppa, and I went down to the trail. Carter taught us all about sonic booms, and how the ducks get food. He kills me. He is quite the animal expert. Or as he tell Poppa, "I'm not just a paleontologist Poppa, I'm a scientist too".
We had to stop at this awesome tree. It looks like about six trees fused together at the bottom. I think it's just cool to look at.
When we came back, Avery and Landon had each made a treasure map for Carter. He had a good time counting paces and digging up Transformers.
Oops, this one is out of order. On the way back from our walk, he blazed his own trail (and fell and laughed about 12 times)!
My blue eyed boy. I can't believe it's February already! He's going to be 2 and gain a new cousin (17 days Kelsie)!
Ave and her Daddy made a pretty cool ice castle outside. It's even bigger now, I should go take another picture.
While Ave was at dance today, I took the boys to Father Sheehan park. Sometimes, it's such a waste to drive home and come back 45 minutes later. It was a fairly mild day, so we tried it out and had a lot of fun. Teague loves to swing! He's also obsessed with the movie "Rio" and insisted on holding it while he was swinging. It is a good show!
My 49er fans last night (again out of order, oops)! They were so close! It was a great game though, and Kyle is excited for next year.
Landon swinging at the snowy park.
Carterman in the new car they got at the park. Hope everyone had a lovely Superbowl day (and Happy Birthday Aunt Diane and Happy Early Birthday Auntie Erica)!

July - August 2019

My friend Michelle was in town from Las Vegas. Her brother and sister-in-law always have a fun barbecue for everyone here in town. Dana, Jas...
