Sorry everyone. My USB cable will not work. We're not sure what's going on. We'll get some new pictures up as soon as we can!

Carter's new sounds

Carter's new sounds are so sweet, if you enjoy a nice scream, which I do!

So Good.

This is Carter's new favorite snack! He does this whenever he sits up - yanks off a sock and tries chewing on it. He's got a good grip too.
He also likes to clench his fists together and yell every once in awhile. He kept doing it for Terri, Abb, and Jord on Sunday. They would laugh, and he'd think he was really funny (as you can tell)!
Jordan was sitting at the computer on Monday night, and Carter was doing everything he could to get her attention. When she'd look at him, he'd do a huge smile. He's a flirt.
I like his little lips in this picture. He loves to talk to and pet his puppy dog. Laney is so good about it too.
I caught him in the act of rolling. He's getting very mobile. I think I still have about a month before crawling though - guess we'll see.
We went for a little walk the other night. When we returned, Carter wanted to jump. He looks pretty funny with the hat on while he jumps.
Carter tried some Zwieback toast with his dinner. He found it to be quite tasty. He likes to turn it around a couple times before diving in.
Here's Carter and his buddy Jordan looking surprised! He looks pretty hefty in this picture - he'll make Jordo's arms buff.
The fam took Grandma Burgman to Great Harvest Saturday morning. Carter thought the new high chair and his Great Grandma were quite fascinating. He is a smily little man!
Uncle Kyle and Carter were playing on Friday night - very rare. We took away that paper that he stuck in his mouth right after! They had fun though.
Carter's new mealtime thing is to take two toys, put one is his mouth, and bang them together. It has resulted in a few bonks on the head. He likes the noise a lot.
I just like this silly little smile, and the onesie. I'm sure in no time he will be "Daddy's Little Tough Guy".
I think this is the cutest picture. I love his little chin. I love all of him though! He kind of looks like he has a secret.
Carter has discovered the joy of pulling on Grandpa's beard. Luckily Grandpa didn't mind. They are buddies.
Carter likes to turn sideways to look at things now. He'll just dive left or right while we're holding him. It makes you really pay attention!
I think Daddy was telling Carter about how wonderful LSU is at football. I'm sure Carter agreed, but he's still not a big hat fan.

Seven months!

Carter was having a really good time during his laundry basket ride from Grandpa (as usual he managed to lose a sock). He's just a bit spoiled!
Dad got Mom this giant remote so they wouldn't lose it - he's a weird one! Anyway, Carter thinks the big huge buttons are pretty fun to play with. It really is giant!
We have such a good dog! Carter was admiring Laney's new haircut by pulling on every piece of fur he could grab. She loves her boy a lot.
I think every week I have a "happy boy in the exercise thing" picture. I can't help it; I love that big huge smile.
He's such a little flirt. Anyone who walks by him gets a grin. I'm surprised I got one of him laying still - he's rolling everywhere.

This little man truly loves juice! I have to hide the cup until he's eaten about half his food, or he would never finish a meal.
One of his new favorite things to do is knock over the aquarium and play with the straps. He still loves that aquarium though; it's been a great toy for the last seven months.
He was a very sleepy guy after day care the other day; I guess that's what happens when you play all day long. (Completely unrelated)I love the elbow patches on his onesie!

Uncle Kyle's friend Ryan brought over this lovely crown on Saturday. King Carter was not too pleased about us putting it on him. He'd much rather eat it.
Sunday was his seven month birthday. I can't believe he's that old. He looks like a big boy in this outfit though - very handsome.
This face just cracks me up. His head looks so round! He enjoyed his nice lunch of sweet potatoes and corn.
This picture is cute. Carter's new thing is attempting to stick his fingers in people's mouths or noses. I'm sure he was planning his attack on his Daddy.

Carter went swimming with his cousins this weekend. Afterwards, he got to lounge about in his robe. Very "Hef-like", don't you think?
His buddy Cimarron was there too. She loves to hold Carter. She's just the cutest little girl and so funny!
Abbey helped Carter with his backstroke. I forgot swim trunks for him so it looks like he has a little Speedo on. I guess this is okay under the age of 1!
Jordan floated him around too. They all had a very good time. It's nice that Carter likes the water.

Jumpin' Guy

Carter is starting to enjoy the Jump-A-Roo a lot. He still runs more than jumps, but you can tell he is having a good time!

Halloween and more!

Carter had a really good time with Jordan's birthday presents from Alaska. He loved the magnets (video down below) and this box. As usual, he managed to get rid of a sock!
Just another stroller picture. He enjoys a nice walk; he likes to watch Laney smell everything. I was amazed he kept the hood on!

Here's one Halloween costume. Kevin and Marisa sent us this cute little pumpkin outfit (Thanks again!). He looked awfully cute!
Dad fell asleep when we were going to carve the pumpkins, so we made one just for him! Kyle and I were pretty proud of our handywork - I can see the resemblance anyway!
Kyle did the gutting of the pumpkins. He looks pretty excited about it too!
Here's Carter's other costume. Our little Darth Vader was quite enthralled by the light saber (as you can see by his face). He was not a very intimidating bad guy!
Jordan was a gothic princess of some sort. She looked pretty freaky with that eye makeup on!
Here's Abbey Jean (as Princess Daisy from some Nintendo game) with the Dale pumpkin. Abb and Jord's costumes were both made by their Aunt Patsy - she's very talented.
This is just a random happy guy picture. He's so funny - he seems to be getting more animated everyday! I love the stripes on him too.
Here's the tongue picture. He's moving that thing all over the place and making some cool new noises. What a silly boy!
The tongue goes out when he's concentrating too! This light that went inside the pumpkin was quite captivating. Carter loved how easy it was to turn it on and off.
I love when I catch a really big smile! This was right before bed one night, and he was being so charming. He would do anything not to go to sleep.
We had Jordan's birthday dinner and cake on Sunday. Those trick candles were hilarious - they would not go out. I can't believe she's 9!
It was so nice on Sunday that Carter got to hang out outside while I helped Dad pick up leaves. He just loves the outdoors - he must have got that from Grandpa this summer. He liked that ghost in the tree too.
Dad wanted me to get a picture of the new chain link - he probably didn't want to be in it. Oops! Dad, Kyle, Mr. Ries, and Eric did a great job putting it together.
Here's a front view of Mom and Dad's house now. It looks really nice. If you look closely you can see Dad and his rake standing proudly by the look-alike pumpkin.

Some cute videos

Here's Carter's first Halloween. Our little Darth just wanted to play with the light saber and would not smile! He sure looks cute though.

Carter has this funny dance that he does where he shakes his head back and forth along with some arm action. We finally caught it at dinner the other night (it's about ten seconds into the video). Our daycare lady said he kept dancing to "Baby Mozart" the other day. It's pretty cute!

Jordan's birthday was on Friday and part of her present from Erica, Kelsie, and Terri Jo were these magnets that you could throw up in the air. They would come together and make a buzzing noise. Carter had the funniest laugh that night. It's a dark video but worth it.

Carter is learning how to clap. He doesn't quite have his hands completely sideways yet, but he tries. Grandma was helping. He also does some nice spitting - it's a long one though!
