Sunburst and more

We finally got up to Sunburst this weekend and had a wonderful time. Grandma and Grandpa Barsness had this cool bike for Carter to play with. We had to finally hide it from him because he was obsessed!
He also really liked their fireplace. It was the perfect height for him to pull himself up on. Then he would walk around like he was the coolest kid ever. That thing on his leg is a monkey tattoo. He got it at Evel Knievel Dayz, and I'm starting to suspect that it's permanent.
Great Grandma Bonnie made us a feast out at the farm on Saturday night. Carter didn't eat too much for dinner though because he had already eaten dozens of grapes! It was delicious though.
We got to go see a baby cow "Sparky". She was wary of us - which was too bad because Carter wanted to pet her so so bad. He was just trying to march right up to her. He is such a little boy. He found a mud puddle in the big tractor wheel and splashed and splashed (as you can see by his shirt).
He also "drove" the tractor with his Daddy. He was making the vroom vroom sound and kicking his legs like crazy.
This is the cutest picture. Dick and Diana have a new puppy named "Diva". She's the happiest little dog I've ever seen. Laney was resisting her charms until they got out to the farm and ran like crazy together.
Carter was in heaven with all the puppies. We were actually missing Josie and Fritzi (sp.?) too! He loved how big Fancy is - he kept coming up behind her and giving her hugs. I like Laney's action shot here!
He looks so cute here. He was chilling on the porch with a delicious cookie. What more could you ask for?
I think he figured out he could rock in the chair all by himself. He has a big cheesy smile!
Sometimes there is nothing better than cuddling with Grandpa. He climbed right over and fell asleep in less than a minute last night.
Mmmm...hot dogs. They are so much easier to eat when you can spear them with both forks!
Erica, Abb, Jord, Landon, and Carter all went up to the "Kids Safety" part of Evel Knievel Dayz on Thursday. That is where Carter and Landon got their tattoos...which haven't faded in the slightest.
Jordan got to ride a little motorcycle by herself. This is a cute picture of her. I'm sure the boys thought she was really cool.
The boys had a very funny bath together the other night. Carter kept "shooting" Landon. He holds the gun up to his face and says "Ya Ya Ya". We have no idea where he got this, but it's hilarious (as you can tell from Landon's face)!
There is another picture of Landon laughing. They are the silliest boys sometimes!
I'm not sure what he was doing here, but it's a funny picture. I guess he was showing me that he can palm this basketball. He might have been happy because Baby Einstien was about to begin!
He was being very lovey to Laney the other night. He would go up and talk to her for awhile. Then he would give her a nice slobbery kiss. He loves dogs.

More summer fun - huge post!

We had a really nice weekend of not doing much. Erica, Abb, Jord, and I took the boys to Emerson on Saturday and Sunday. The boys love the playground there - lots of slides. Landon also really likes to run around and flap his arms like a little crazy man.
Carter has no fear. He goes down this covered slide all by himself. I catch him at the bottom, and he has the biggest grin on his face!
Landon is sure that one of these days he'll be able to crawl all the way up the blue slide. He'll just keep trying every time we go there.
This is just a cute picture. I'm not sure why it's right in the middle of the Emerson Playground pictures, but oh well!
Landon likes to stand on this little yellow thing and bounce. I'm not sure if that's why the picture is blurry. It's still cute though.
Carter can get all the way up to the blue slide by himself. You have to make him sit on his butt at the top though. Otherwise, he just steps right on the slide. Like I said, no fear.
Abbey and Jordan were chicken fighting. It was really funny. Abbey won because Jordan's hands got sweaty from waiting for Abbey!
Carter likes to hit the tires - almost like he's counting how many there are. Landon is a little climbing guy.
On Saturday the boys were cranky. We decided to take them out of the house and go to the wading pool up at the hospital. Luckily they had a great time and so did we! Here's Landon riding his mom like a "horsey". Erica's arm looks buff.
Here's Abbey chasing Landon away from the playground. We tried to keep them away from there because there are no baby swings and everything else was metal and would have been way too hot.
I just like this face he's making. He was putting sunglasses on everyone and laughing. He even put them around his belly once.
Here's Carter being a brave boy and touching the fountain. The water was a little chilly at first, but they got used to it. He was wearing his cool Elmo trunks - little kids kept coming up and touching Elmo on his shirt. It was pretty funny!
Here's Abb and Jord in the fountain. They were giving the boys high fives. Abbey got her hair cut (she has bangs now) and looks like a little supermodel. She wanted a picture of her hair on here, but I didn't get a very good one.
I love this picture of Jordan. She was trying not to splash Carter while she ran through the water. The girls are about the best helpers ever! Here's Carter giving Jordan a high five right when we got there. Please ignore the kid's butt behind him. That was a lovely sight for all. Anyway, have a look at Carter's hair. Kyle took Carter and Abbey for a haircut on Friday. He now looks much older now and exactly like his Daddy!
Here's Landon trying out the water. His trunks were so cute. They were longer than we thought they would be!
We were trying to teach the boys how to roll down the hill. The hospital has nice grass. Landon liked to run down them. They were a bit steep for Carter, and he ended up crawling down them!
Here's some fun at home. Carter and Landon have discovered the joy of popping bubbles. Sometimes Carter accidentally eats one!
My brother turned 21 on Thursday - pretty hard to believe. We got him a delicious ice cream cake, and I actually made some dinner for once. I love his awesome Rod Stewart shirt that he wore out on the town!
This is the face Carter kept making when I would tell him to smile. He moved from person to person to eat ice cream cake with them. He's a little piggy!
As I said, he likes to eat. Jordan was sharing her Ramen with him, but he decided it was easier to just steal noodles right out of her mouth.
This picture is hilarious. Baby Einstein is enthralling, apparently even to Joe. He's been working in Whitehall, but whenever he comes over Landon yells "Bo Bo"!
Carter thought the TV remote was like a Wii remote. He was swinging it at the TV, yelling, and bending his legs. Carter really gets into it!
Look at Carter's face - he looks totally crazy! Landon likes to try this headband on everyone and laugh. Carter was helping him (I think).
Erica was bouncing them on her lap. It was quite funny. They were both laughing really hard!

Videos galore!

This is an old video from May of Carter reading his giant "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" book. It's kind of funny because he dances to it. I guess it does sound like a song.

This video is not that exciting, but it does show our snow we got at the beginning of June. The boys have to be outside though of course. At least you can hear Landon's cool bird noises that he makes sometimes.

This video is also sort of boring, but I had never seen it before. Erica took it with her camera. Landon is trying to put his pacifier in the outlet. The boys just look cute in their long sleeves. It must have been cold that day.

This is the boys stomping around in the pool that day that it leaked all over. They could climb right over the side when it deflated. They think they are pretty cool. It's also not thrilling by any means, but they look so funny in there.

The boys are usually much more animated with the Wii than this. I'll have to try to get another one. It's still cute though. I like how Carter watches Erica and then tries to imitate her.

These last two videos are of Carter going down the huge slide in Anaconda with Abbey and Jordan. I wasn't sure if he would be nervous, but you can tell he loved it. It kind of makes me mad though because I can't get the stupid things to rotate on Youtube, but I could on the Kodak thing. Oh well, they are still funny (one with Abb, one with Jord). The second one, you can hear my buddy Rader cheering for him.

We love summer

Landon was sitting on his lawn chair clapping about something. I think we were singing "head, shoulders, knees, and toes". That is the boys' new favorite song. They both grab their heads and say "head".

Carter might have been singing in his lawnchair. It's quite amusing to watch him get on and off the chair.
Abb and Jord came to Anaconda with me this weekend for the Goosetown softball tournament. They took Carter on this enormous slide. He absolutely loved it. I have videos. I'm hoping to put them up tomorrow.
This is Carter's new favorite breakfast. We share a bowl of Captain Crunch. He's very messy with his little spoon, but it's so funny to watch him chow down like a big guy.
Kyle, Abb, Jord, Carter, and I decided to take a little trip to Fairmont last week. It was so nice, and we all had a great time. Here's Carter and Jordan all suncreened up before we went outside.
We tried to take a couple pictures before the pool since we were locking up the camera. They didn't turn out too great but whatever. Abbey looks very tan.
Kyle got a picture of us before we got out. We swam for three hours, and he was such a good boy. He was trying to "dunk" me underwater here. Can you tell he was having a good time?
He loved these lockers with the keys in them. He could reach about a million keys! He was wearing his cool Lightning McQueen swim trunks from our buddy Ritter. He still doesn't have much of a belly to keep them up.
Here's the poor Lando man's injury. He bumped his eye when he was playing on the slide at C Street park. I wasn't there, but Erica said he was very tough about it.
This is one of the best inventions ever. Grandpa hooks this on his bike and takes the boys for a delightful ride. He took Carter all the way to Mr. Patrick's house last week. They weren't too sure about it at first, but now they love it. We have to hide it in the backyard or Carter tries to climb in it all the time.
This is just a cute picture. Grandpa was really making Landon laugh about something!
This is just a cool guy in the car. He knows people think he's funny when he wears glasses. I'm not sure if these are Abb or Jord's.

July - August 2019

My friend Michelle was in town from Las Vegas. Her brother and sister-in-law always have a fun barbecue for everyone here in town. Dana, Jas...
