A Quiet Long Weekend

My girl just loves her brother. I should get a video of her talking to him. She completely changes her voice and imitates everyone else! She always wants to hold him until he gets "too heavy".
I love when he just stares at her. He usually gives her big smiles, but it's so hard to catch one. At least he doesn't have his whole fist jammed in his mouth like usual!
Carter found Kyle's headphones that he has to wear when he has gun training. He was pretending they were playing music and was dancing and dancing. Plus he has on his favorite new pjs from Margaret, Nancy, and Frank. They have dinosaurs of course!
Avery has decided that she would rather wear Carter's pajamas than her footie ones. She likes two piece pajamas apparently!
I think Carter took this picture. It's a nice side view of my smiley boy's cheek! He's such a good little baby.
There's a front view of his nice blue eyes, bald head, and double chin. Actually, he looks bald, but his hair is coming in. It almost looks blond!
My favorite thing during diaper changes is to check out those thighs. They are gorgeous! They remind me of when Dad would change the words of "Hungry Eyes" from Dirty Dancing to "Chunky Thighs". Aww...memories.
Swimming time again! I'm so glad we've got back into our Saturday morning routine again. It is fun, and it wears them out. Teague was going to go in after his bottle with Daddy, but he passed out. Maybe next time!
You probably can't tell, but Avery and Carter went with Kyle to get haircuts that morning. Carter and Kyle now look exactly alike again. Avery got her bangs trimmed and the back evened out. We just wanted her to still look like a beautiful girl. It was her first haircut though, and she loved it! She got a sucker and picked out a blue comb just like Carter!
We went to Kung Fu Panda 2 at the drive in on Saturday night. We love the drive in! It was a very funny show. Teague slept the first 45 minutes or so, then he watched too. That's Erica's car next to us - she and Lando also enjoyed the show.
This is Avery's baby taking a snooze with Kyle. It used to be named Pink Baby, but now it's something much more awesome...Vector Sandwich. Vector is because of the movie Despicable Me, and I guess she likes sandwiches. It makes me laugh just thinking of it!
What a cold Memorial Day weekend! It was that wet dreary stuff that just doesn't let you warm up. These two clowns (or donut face in Landon's case) came out with me on Saturday for a little while and helped me clear some old stuff out of the garden. They are very good at picking those random dandelions out!

Graduation, Dancing, and Swimming - Oh My!

My girl is super fashionable - nightgown, sandals, jacket. She knows she looks good!

Just a picture of my silly big boy. He's such a nice guy.
Mr. Teague in the bath. Bathtime goes just fine if he has a whole fist in his mouth. He loves to suck on his fingers! There are usually 2,3, or 4 in his mouth at a time!
This picture looks like he's so tired, he has to block the light from his eyes. Poor baby!
What a handsome fella! These striped pants made his little chubby legs look fabulous. I found him some awesome brown bear slippers to wear too - what a fashion plate!
My Carterman had his preschool graduation last Wednesday. Technically he didn't graduate since he's there for another year, but they had a lovely recital. They sang - Carter danced like a madman. He wasn't shy at all! We took a video, but at 15 minutes it's a little long for the blog.
I think he was pointing at Kyle right before they got started. Auntie Erica did a great job with her class. They were so cute and very smart. Carter and a couple of the other boys did some modified break dancing - I could not stop laughing!
He marched up with great enthusiasm to get his diploma! I had no idea my Carter Robert was such a ham!
The graduate in his best dinosaur shirt with his cap and diploma!
Lando had his graduation the next day. He was fantastic and was probably the best dancer in his class. So cute!
Yay! Callie got to come over from Missoula to watch her buddies Abb and Jord perform. They were awesome as usual, and we always love to see Callie.
The kiddos had a good time with her too. She got to meet little Teague for the first time, and Avery and Carter were their usual goofy selves. We miss you Cal!
Erica, Little Kyle, Nicole, and I went to the brewfest on Friday night. It was a fundraiser for Dynamic Dance, so Jordan and her dance friend Molly watched the kids for us. We had lots of fun. I was greeted by my sweet sleepy baby when we came back!
This boy was looking quite stretchy and long in these awesome lion pjs from Kelsie. Love it!
He looks like he's saying "What?" in this picture!
We went swimming for the first time in quite awhile on Saturday. Ave wore a gorgeous new bikini from Grandma Burgman. They had so much fun - we stayed in the pool for over an hour. Teague slept and had a bottle with Daddy.
I stole this picture from Erica's blog. It's got Teague in the background, then all the swimming boys: Carter,
Austin, Landon, and Connor. Part of Jordan is there too! We had a good time all together at the YMCA!
Then all 11 of us went to Arctic Circle - yum! The kids were all so good. Nicole's boys just love babies - they thought Teague was pretty cute. He gave them some big smiles too!
Lounging at home with Avery and her little buddy. She loves to scoot down next to him and talk and talk.
There's a nice little Teague smile. He smiles all the time now, but it's hard to catch one. The minute he sees the camera he just stares at it. He's fascinated by that little blue camera.
Last but not least (a lot of pictures since it was late!), an action bath photo. They love to squirt eachother with the sea serpent. Ave has some awesome hair in this one too. We might actually be headed for a first haircut soon!

3 months old!

There's my boy in all his glory after a bath. He has a lovely belly and some cool blue eyes. They almost have a little white around the middle. He enjoys a good hand to suck on too!
Carter and Avery got some cute little tiny pillow pets that match their big ones from Abb, Terri, and Jord on Easter. Carter let Teague lay on his little one. I love Carter's face in this! Teague was staring at the Pixar poster.
Avery just loves her brother. She gives him loves like this all the time. She always gets really close and calls him Teagie Beagie.
I went over and visited my friend Cristin last week. Her little guy, KR, was born on St. Patrick's Day, and he's huge! He's already growing out of 6 month clothes. He was a happy little guy.
We had a couple pretty nice days here last week. On Thursday, these two wore their Avengers shirts from Grandma Patsy with no coats! They were so excited.
Teague has been super smily lately. Sometimes it's hard to catch one though because his hands are always right by his mouth! He seriously tries to eat the entire fist at times.
Look Kelsie - short sleeves! He finally got to wear this cute cute outfit. I love it!
My boy was 3 months old on Friday the 13th. I can't believe the time is passing so quickly. He's so cute - he has about 4 dimples!
I like this picture of Carterman and Teague. Carter loves to sit with him. He's already such a good big brother to Avery, luckily he's great to Teague too! Teague's hands make me laugh in this one.
Lando jumped in there too. All the boys together - I'm sure they'll be great pals. It will be so funny to see Teague trying to keep up with them.
All the kiddos! Ave is really getting serious about potty training and picking out her clothes. She found some white 12 month pants that got put in the wrong drawer and some black socks to go with them. Gorgeous!
I love these little stickers that Nikki (Foley) Edmundson got for us. I love to see how much he's changed every month, and how much he reminds me of baby Carter.
We went to the Law Enforcement Parade on Saturday morning. It was really neat. It was uptown and had policemen and highway patrolmen from all over Montana. Carter thought it was so cool that every cop was waving to him and flashing their lights! We parked right by the library so we went in for awhile. They had this cool boat that the kids loved. Carter made up an awesome pirate song about it. Thank goodness Jordan was with me because Teague just slept in my arms the whole time!
There's Ave giving her brother loves again. She likes to lean all the way into the bouncer for some kisses!
And lastly, Abbey Jean and Teague. They took a nice little nap together on the couch last night. Then he woke up and drooled all over her shoulder. Good stuff!

Just some lazy wonderful stuff

We had a pretty quiet week around here, nothing too out of the ordinary. We are never bored though that's for sure! We took a little walk to feed the ducks and couldn't find any. Still fun though. It was Teague's first time in a stroller. He was mad about the wind at first, then he passed out.
Carter is the best brother a kid could ask for. He gave Teague a nice little run. We've still got the awesome jogging stroller Callie!
Avery and Jocko are such pals. Here they are at the end of our little excursion.
Ave is such a clown. She set up these hula hoops to be her houses. She let Carter sit in her "purple house" and she moved into her "yellow house".
Just a cute sleeping little man picture. He looks so peaceful. This was the night he would not wake up until about 11. Then he didn't go back to sleep until 2am. Not our best evening together - I still love him though!
These two  were entertaining their brother while I got some chocolate milk for them. They tell him great stories about dinosaurs.
We made it down to C Street Park finally. It actually wasn't snowing or raining for once. Carter, Avery, and Landon had a great time. Teague stayed with Grandma because he was sleeping.
There's my big crazy 4 year old. He does seem so much bigger all of a sudden.
My little Googles love the big girl swings. She's very good at holding on all by herself. I should have maybe rotated this picture before I posted. Oops!
C Street Park doesn't have much, but the two swings are nice. They also ran and ran with Laney. It was nice to be outside for awhile.
My parents babysat while I went out for my friend Dana's 30th birthday. Erica and Ritter came too. It was fun...and Dana's pregnant. Congrats!
These little naked fools were making their own dinosaur train. The little potty, two inflatable chairs, and two baby strollers make a great train!
These cute shirts and onesie were from Grandma and Grandpa Barsness on our Cody trip. They are so cute - I just love them!
Ave has the best smile in this one!
Nothing better than a Mother's Day with these little monkeys!

July - August 2019

My friend Michelle was in town from Las Vegas. Her brother and sister-in-law always have a fun barbecue for everyone here in town. Dana, Jas...
