An awesome summer week!

Carl and Jenny came in for their summer vacation. They went straight to Yellowstone for a few days with Mom and Dad, but when they came back...it was game night. As usual we laughed and laughed all night long!
It has been so hot lately! Look at my Teagie-Pie basking in the sunshine - he's staying hydrated at least!
These two especially love the new playhouse. I caught them peeking in from the bench.
A nice front view - it's so cute!
I believe Carter and Landon were ordering from Avery - she makes a delicious mud pie!
This was the Carter ear injury that he received on game night. The spaz jumped into a bookshelf - it bled a ton and bruised pretty good. Poor guy.
Teague loves Erica's sunglasses - if she sets them down for a minute, he's got them on!
He is the messiest kid. If the hose is on, he manages to soak his shoes completely (and usually his head too). He loves it though. That's what baths are for I guess.
We had a feast for Carl and Jenny's last night - steaks, salmon, scallops, risotto, and cauliflower with pancetta and capers...MMM! Teague did not want his raviolis that night - he stole one of my scallops, then moved on to the risotto and cauliflower. He finished by gnawing on a steak bone! It's amazing he doesn't weight 40 pounds!
We always have tons of fun with Carl and Jenny - you can tell by Dad's face!
He's finally full!
A 2012 family picture - Ave and Teague are looking off in the distance somewhere. Still a good one! We miss Kelsie of course...
I had to put this one up. We had a pinecone fight after the picture. Ave likes to get pretty close and jump when she throws! Erica and I could not stop laughing at Erica's pretend scared face!
Saturday was ridiculously hot - 91 I think. We ended up heading to the Splash Pad. They had to check it out before they ventured in.
Poor Teague fell asleep on the way there. He woke up and had a blast though. Grandma and Grandpa Barsness were in town for the weekend. They went on the Dust to Dazzle tour that afternoon. Butte has some awesome houses uptown!
These two thought they could stand behind the giant bucket and watch it dump out...it swings back though too! They were completely soaked!
Teague loved the water. He was right in the middle splashing from the moment he woke up!
Carterman had a great time. Ave was a bit more cautious. It was still a great day for it!
Afterwards, we made sure to go on all four colors of horsey swings. Everyone had a good time on those!
Later that night - Tropical Snow! My kids are obsessed with that place. Callie came in for the night (Yay!). Avery had a fabulous time with her!
Carter and Daddy enjoying their shaved ice.
Sunday was another scorcher! We decided to pack up and head over to Philipsburg. We all had heard that it's an awesome little place to visit...and it was! Teague would not look at me!
That candy shop in Philipsburg (The Sweet Palace) was amazing! I have never seen so much candy. These two are this weird before sugar...imagine what they were like after!
There is no getting all 3 to look at me. If I do...it's a happy accident!
We stopped at a nice little Cafe which had fabulous ice cream treats. Ave went with the chocolate ice cream cone.
Teague sucked down more than half of my shake!
Carter had a tasty sundae. Bre is in the background there - it was great to see her! It's so hard for me to believe that she and Abbey Jean will be juniors next year...upper classmen!
What kid doesn't like a good stool to twirl around!
Last but not least, we played at this awesome playground by the school. It was huge! It was set up to look like a jail, bank and mineyard all rolled into one. They had a blast! Thank you so much Carl, Jenny, Dick, Diana, Callie, and Breanne. We had a great week of family time!

Happy Father's Day!

He was letting Avery and Carter play "This Little Piggy" on his toes. He likes to tickle himself and say "Wee wee wee wee wee". He loves little songs and nursery rhymes.
Teagie gives the best bedtime kisses. He never misses giving Carter and Avery some nice slobbery loves!
I'm not even sure what he was doing here - dancing probably. He just looks so cute in his summer shorts!
This is what happens when you forget to put the lid on the sandbox...and it rains. 3 muddy children having a delightful time getting dirty!
GROSS!
Ave just makes me laugh - unless she's making me scream. I believe she's the very definition of "sassy".
Heading out for a beautiful bike and buggy ride. Ave is a maniac on that thing. I guess we should take the back handle off it sometime!
Mom finally talked Dad into getting a playhouse for their yard. It's awesome. It has a bay window, shutters that open, a doorbell, phone, sink, stove, bench, chimney...it's so cool! The kids love it. Dad, Kyle, and Kyle did a fantastic job putting it together.
Saturday swim time again! When Kyle has a Saturday off, we always try to go swimming. It's sort of impossible with only one parent. This is a great picture!
Poor Teague has a bruise on his face from falling in the front yard (he runs everywhere now), and a big mosquito bite on his forehead. Luckily neither of them seem to bother him at all!
I always loved this "Hunk" romper. It looked lovely with his blue eyes too. He fell asleep in the pool but was ready to play outside!
Miss Boo named these dinosaurs Dwila and Lily. Lily/Lillia seems to be a favorite name of hers these days. I think Kels always liked that one too.
Carterman likes to just chill. Too much sun seems to get to him. He's his Father's son totally - Kyle can't handle heat. I love it!
Teague was sure that Laney wanted to talk to someone on the phone. He kept holding it up to her face and saying "Hi?". He loves his pup-pup as he calls her.
Ave and Teague had a good time playing with her castle the other day. Jordan and Ave had every princess/prince/witch/horse...etc set up in there earlier. It was a crowded place!
Happy Father's Day! I love this picture. All 3 smiling with their Daddy! Kyle had a good day: donuts, presents, gym, Thai Peanut chicken, and Madagascar 3 at the drive in (okay, that wasn't for him).

Old Fairmont pics and a Museum visit!

Erica gave me some pictures from Fairmont a long time ago and I kept forgetting to put them up! So here is our adventure from when Kelsie was here. We had lots of fun. It was a Tuesday, about 80 degrees, and Fairmont wasn't crowded at all. There was no line for the slide either (which we went down many times - the boys on their own usually). It was perfect! Here's Kyle showing off his muscles.
Mr. Teague was a good boy out there. He finally fell asleep after about three hours in the pool.
Time to drag three monkeys over to the shallow end!
Erica and Lando in the warm sunshine.
A group shot - not all of us - but some of us. Look at Carter and Landon, they're so cute!
One of our usual fam pictures...crazy!
My little Googles is so cute. She loved just walking around by herself in the shallow end, finding the warm jets.
Kels working with Teague on his front floats...makes me kind of sad. We miss you Kels!
And now...our newest adventure. We went over to the Museum of the Rockies on Sunday. Carter has been wanting to go for awhile and Mom and Dad were making a Costco trip anyway. Teague absolutely loved it this time!
Checking out some ocean life. Teaguers got his little face up there moments later.
Carter knows so much about dinosaurs (and animals in general). He knew this bird from the book Mary Jo and Phil got him for Christmas. It has three sections: life before the dinosaurs, dinosaurs, and life after the dinosaurs. He saw this and said, "Hey, that's a Hesperonis", and sure enough it was! He pretty much amazed everyone with his, "That's a trilobite", "Grandma, come see this plesiosaur!", and "Troodons are also called Stenonychosaurus". He kills me.
I'm not sure if this is a dinosaur "Roar" face or his new silly face. Either way, he really enjoyed himself. Carter is intently watching how to dig up dinosaurs. He wants to be a paleontologist.
Avers was in heaven in the Triceratops room. Those have always been her favorite. She made sure I got a good picture of the giant one!
Teague loves real food (and play food). He played in the log cabin kitchen in the Yellowstone area for a good 40 minutes. He put the pizza in the oven, then out, then in, then out...and so on. He was on a mission. Then he found a spatula. What could be better?
Ave did a little camping in the tent.
Here's the pizza Mom!
Time to cook it for the 80th time.
The cousins after visiting the awesome gift shop!
Ave got a girl dinosaur shirt (which are difficult to find), some dinosaur magnets, and this awesome smashed penny with a T-Rex on it.
We had some lunch at Famous Dave's. This is one of the many reasons I love my Carterman. He came over just to give his brother a little squeeze. Not sure what kind of face he's making, but he's so nice!
Ave had to play with some new dinosaur bath toys that Grandma picked out. She and Teague had fun squirting eachother!
Then Monday night, they decided to throw dirt on eachother at my outdoor volleyball game. So Ave took her first shower (Carter loves them). They had lots of fun doing karate moves in the shower. They are goofballs!

July - August 2019

My friend Michelle was in town from Las Vegas. Her brother and sister-in-law always have a fun barbecue for everyone here in town. Dana, Jas...
