Another quiet week

This is one of Avery's Christmas presents from us. She loves to draw and do stickers, so her little artist desk is fantastic. She's even been good about putting the lids back on!
This is Carterman's present. The giant Cars track is still in our kitchen right now. He has a very good time with it!
I love this picture. She insisted on wearing this awesome Viking helmet while she read Beauty and the Beast. She reads it to me now which is awesome. "This is Belle. She doesn't like Gaston - he's a bad guy"!
I couldn't help but laugh at this picture. He loves to sleep on his face. He doesn't usually wear his slippers to bed either. What a pose!
She really likes her Princess sweatshirt that Madisyn and Mason gave her. Anything with Tianna from Princess and the Frog makes her happy!
I love this big-eyed picture. I can't help it...she's cute! Her pigtails were marvelous that day also.
It was blue day at daycare which thrilled Carter. He insisted on wearing a blue shirt, blue pants, blue underwear, and blue boots! He was looking good - I love this face too!
Nancy and Frank got Avery the cutest Hello Kitty outfits for her birthday. She spilled chocolate milk on her pants so she was running around like this all day Friday. That little blue ruffle at the bottom kills me!
They got their flu shots finally on Friday. It seemed like everytime we were going to take them, they got a cold. Anyway, I thought this would wear them out. No such luck! Avers found the Halloween costumes and had a great time.
Now it's time to be Buzz...excuse the nudity. I couldn't help it - those boots were killing me. They were very good with their shots too. Ave cried until she got a sucker. Then she was fine. Carter just said Ow, and then told the nurse that hurt him just a little bit. They are my tough kids!
His teeth are so evenly spaced. The dentist told me that's awesome for little kids. Sometimes they really make me laugh though!
Last but not least, a pretty girl in her ballet/tutu jammies playing with Carter's monster truck magnets. What a contrast!

Not much at all, but better than nothing

I don't have much here, mostly my girl. She's a ham lately, and Carter doesn't want his picture taken. I also left my camera charger in Sunburst over Christmas break so my camera died. Thanks so much Bonnie for sending it to me! Here's a blurry picture of Ave trying on every headband she got from Nicole and her boys for her birthday!
She got so many cute clothes for Christmas and her birthday...which we really appreciate. She was starting to grow out of everything. She likes me to take pictures so she can look at them when I'm done. I love this purple outfit!
I know she's German...but we're going to go with that Ave was channeling Charlie Chaplin here instead of you know who. Mom wiped this off her because it was dripping towards her mouth. She immediately drew a green mustache in the same spot! She and Lando had a good time painting together. Carter was too tired.
She and Carter have been very into painting lately...which is amazing for Carter because he'd much rather hit something than do anything creative!
She would not look at me after the Butte High/Butte Central games (which did not go very well). Possibly she was too hyped up after her snowcone. She looked super cute in her sweatshirt and pigtails though! Both she and Carter were so good at the games luckily. Abb and Jord performed there too and were fabulous!
Finally my boy! He has been very good about letting Ave play in his room with him. Probably because she's been sharing her wolfie stuffed animal with him. He's been on a wolf kick lately.
He told me he was going to hug her while they were jumping. That did not work so well. Now he just looks like a insanely happy evil guy with his hands around her neck!
There's a hug. They are so cute together...most of the time!
Ave's starting to be a big girl and really liking her own bed. She got a TV from us for her birthday. She's been watching Little Einsteins and the Princess and the Frog a lot!
This picture makes me laugh. I'm not sure what Carterman is doing. I love his hair though. Ave is giving baby Tianna a bottle in her princess chair...while naked of course.
Last but not least (I warned you not much here), Ave and her puppy taking a little snooze at Poppa's house. I like that that Lane is actually on the pillow with her. She's a good dog. It reminds me of a picture of Abbey and Clifford when he was a puppy sleeping on her Little Mermaid pillow. So cute! They'll be more next week now that the camera is back to life!

Ave's big party!

This is really not the best picture, but Ave's shirt is so funny. Auntie Erica got her a girly R2D2 shirt for her birthday. The top says Beep Boop, Boop Bleep. She's a Lord of the Rings girl right now, but Star Wars may come around someday. I'm fine with my kids liking some nerdy stuff! It was a big hit!
We were at Silver Bow for Madisyn's 4th Birthday party. Carty was looking totally awesome in his blue guitar shirt, blue jeans, and blue boots. This is what he rides on the carousel 90% of the time...the blue bench!
I'm not sure what's going on with Carter's face here. He probably was chasing some imaginary bad guys. Ave's just happy to be with her brother.
Madisyn had a tasty and beautiful Dora cake. She's a cutie...can't believe she's 4 already!
There is a broken ski-ball game that is the best thing ever. These three just took turns rolling, and we didn't use any quarters. Can't beat that!
My girl in her pretty yellow sweatshirt from Aunt Kelsie. I love this cheesy look and curly hair!
Carterman loves dinosaurs (and transformers, and ninja turtles, and GI Joe). He's wearing a dinosaur shirt and reading his dinosaur book from Erica that he got for Christmas. It's a cool book. Who knew there was a dinosaur for every letter of the alphabet?
Ave had her big birthday party on Sunday. She had a great time with great people, and she looked so pretty! Mom found this dress for her awhile ago - it was so cute on her!
Thank goodness for Abb and Jord. They are so good about watching and playing with the kids...especially when there's a million of them running around at Silver Bow! You guys are the best.
These expressions make me laugh! I wonder what Lando Commando and Ave were thinking here!
Miss Ave had a lot of guests. She's a lucky girl to know so many little kids. This is Reese, Eric and Geah's little girl.
This is Reese's new baby sister, Brooklyn. She's 10 weeks old and according to her grandma Nancy, a great eater! She was a very good baby at the party.
There's Abbey and Carter or as Avery calls them Abbey Jean Dance Machine and Carty. I'm not sure where Carty came from, but it's really cute when she says it!
I have to sneak up on Mason to take a picture. He hates cameras! This didn't turn out to be a bad one though - he's a good boy!
She was really good about opening her presents. She just opened them on the floor almost under the table. Made it tough to get a good picture!
I wish I wouldn't have missed her little face here. She was super excited about her Little Einsteins movies from Grandma Bonnie!
She was debating between Princess and the Frog or Kung Fu Panda for her cake. Tianna won out! It was a beautiful cake. Avery blew out her candles like a champ too!
Nicole's boys are always so good at parties. I love those smiles too...looks like Connor lost a tooth!
When we got home, Carter passed out immediately. Ave kept going for another hour. She had to try out her new diaper bag for her babies from Grandma and Grandpa Barsness. Baby Tianna was going to have a bottle. Thanks so much to everyone for coming (especially traveling from Sunburst) - she had the best time!

My girl's 2!...and I'm 30.

This playdough set Auntie Kelsie sent the three monkeys for Christmas has been a huge hit! Everyone looks pretty happy - my kids look insane!
Lando enjoyed my birthday cake quite a bit...well, everyone did! Thanks Terri and girls!
Avers, I think that might be a little large for your tiny mouth!
Have you ever seen a sweeter face?
We had our friends with kids annual Christmas present exchange on Thursday. Ritter brought over Madisyn (below) and Mason. Dana and Jason brought over Jada and Madelyn too. We had a great time!
Ave had to open every bit of her presents. She can't just see what they are, they have to be completely dismantled!
Jada, who's so pretty, is very into girly things. She loved her Barbie doll stuff and coloring books.
I love these kind of pictures. We had one from last year, and it's fun to see how much our babies have grown! I always love the variety of hair colors too!
There's the oldest of our kids. Jada is 4 and Madisyn will be 4 on January 7th. They are too cute!
Miss Boo Bear had a great time with all our visitors. See her manners: eating chocolate and jumping on the couch. At least I got her to put some clothes on!
Mason and Ave got along great. They are really funny together. He really enjoyed using Carter's binoculars to find "elk"!
Here's goofy bean the next morning. She got a new bath baby who came with a duck towel. She likes to wear the little towel on her head, and spin around saying "Quack"!
This is Carterman in some new pajamas, sitting at Ave's new writing/drawing desk, and playing with his new Cars Geo/Trax set. He loves it! He's driving around Doc here/ hence the blue controller.
My Boo Bear is 2! I can't believe it. She had a quiet birthday with the fam on Saturday. She'll have her big party next Sunday. Invitations are coming! Look at that cute nightgown Mom got her!

She had the craziest hair I've ever seen that day! I loved it though. Here she is showing off her new stamp set from Auntie Kelsie. She has played with that everyday so far!
Grandma Patsy made me take a picture of her gorgeous artwork! It is quite magnificent.
My girl wanted five candles on her cake. Who are we to say no? She also looked around to make sure every person there was singing to her (Carter obviously was!). That face makes me laugh everytime.
Cute picture of Mom and son. Landon got his hair cut the next day. It was a bit traumatic, but he looks fantastic!
Here is a lovely profile of crazy hair/frosting teeth/nutso girl!
Here's another just random playing picture. She really enjoys making playdough snakes and saying "hiss"! I can't believe she's 2! Have I said that yet?

July - August 2019

My friend Michelle was in town from Las Vegas. Her brother and sister-in-law always have a fun barbecue for everyone here in town. Dana, Jas...
