A bunch of silly kids!

All the kids got so many cute clothes for Christmas. I love this happy dinosaur shirt on my Teagie man. He's starting to get very into dinosaurs just like his big brother.
We took a chilly little walk to Emerson last week. It was fun, but we didn't last there long. We've been trying to get outside a lot though. That's what hats, gloves, and coats are for!
My Dad's face kills me! He apparently was surprised I was taking a picture or Ave was getting heavy. She looks so happy swinging away though.
Ave's daycare always sends home homework for the days she doesn't go...so she and Carter always do their homework together at night. Teague is usually in there too. He likes to scribble on old homework assignments. They look so cute.
Carter always makes a fort to sleep in. He's laying under his giant dog and in between two pillow pets. Of course, blue guy is right there also!
Teague, the chocolate granola bar face, loves to wear Ave's tap shoes. They are super noisy! He fell asleep in his dinosaur bed in this exact outfit!
I love when these three play together. They've been very into Avengers lately. When Teague wears his Hulk pajamas they do a lot of searching for Dr. Doom. He, somehow, always gets into our house when we're gone.
I'm not sure what this move is, but he sure looks silly.
Ave, being a Montana girl, thought Jasmine's "winter wear" was quite ridiculous. She used a gift certificate to Hastings to buy a huge paper doll book, 2 Backyardigan books, and 1 Dora book. She loves to read (I'm so proud)!
Now, for a bunch of dance costume pictures. Terri brought a bunch of old dance costumes of Abb and Jord's over for Diane Trerise to look at. She and her family were our neighbors in Lincoln, and she was our dance teacher. She still teaches dance in Helena. Some of her girls were going to buy some of the old costumes for solos. We couldn't part with this one. It was Kelsie's when she was in 2nd grade. It's big on Ave, but she loves it!
That night we had an epic dance show at home. I had to play appropriate songs to go with each outfit. I believe she was dancing to Songbird by Fleetwood Mac for this one. It was graceful and lovely!
Bad Romance was requested by Teague. All 3 couldn't help but dance to that song. I love Ave's pose here!
She's got moves! Not sure where she got them, but they are fabulous.
She slept in this outfit the last two nights. She had a Ring Around the Rosie dance break with Teague, who had to dress up too. You can tell he idolizes his big sister!
One of my favorites, the King Tut dance. I have a "Best of Steve Martin" Saturday Night Live DVD. She thinks his dancing in King Tut is one of the funniest things ever (and she's right)!
What a happy little man!
Another one of Kelsie's old outfits - "Buttermilk Biscuits" right Kels?
This one was an ice skating outfit - it still worked perfectly though. She is one lucky girl to have Abb and Jord around. She's spoiled rotten!

Sledding/Winter Fun

We finally got to go sledding this year! It started to get warm, but not warm enough to melt all our snow yet. We went to Clark's Park and were the only ones there. So much fun - look at happy Carter's face!
My Boo and Landon went down on the purple sled a bunch of times.
Carter took his brother down a couple times. Teague had the biggest grin on his face everytime.
My smiley boy. He got a little chilly after awhile and sat with Kyle in the truck. He was a trooper though. Sometimes he just walked up the hill and ran down for fun!
I like this picture with the sun going down and my Ave going up. I love sledding. I could never live somewhere where it was warm all the time. Snow is good for kids!
My kiddos. I just love them. We had a great day!
Erica, Landon, Avery, and Carter packed into the purple sled for a couple rides. They looked quite happy about it.
Carter decided to try to jump on Erica and crashed into the snow. This face makes me laugh!
Mom and son picture - very nice.
Mom and daughter picture - also very nice.
Ave made a nice snow angel before we left. She was very proud of how it turned out and asked me to take a picture for her.
She looked so cute in this outfit (thanks Kelsie and Grandma and Grandpa Barsness). She didn't want to smile for me though.
Time to make a snowman. The snow was melting a little bit so it was perfect to pack together.
She told me today she was Queen of the Mountain, but she was a mean Queen and I should be careful.
Mr. Blue Eyes is the nicest guy in the world. He's happy 96% of the time - that's my estimate anyway.
They were cooking for Poppa in their restaurant, he requested Chicken Gizzards and Fried Trematodas. Luckily they had those. I love Ave's smile in this!
We had to patch up our snowman a little bit. Ave decided to shake his hand as well.
The big boys and Poppa had a snowball fight. Both of them ended up with snow in one eye. They were fine. I made them take this funny picture to remember the moment!
A day playing out in the snow wears a kid out. She passed out while talking to Jordan. She also spent the night with Erica last night while we were at the Police "Christmas in January" party. Terri and Jordan watched the Teagie Pie. Thanks everyone, we had lots of fun.

Ave's party and more!

Ave looked so cute the other night in Carter's baseball hat. They were wearing hats and wielding weapons - you know, like a normal night at any house!
Carter was wearing Ave's dance backpack as well. It was packed with many supplies like dice and sunglasses.
My smart boy told us he was Student of the Month in November. However, he had no details except that he thought his teacher and principal told him that. Turns out...he was right! I don't know if they hang up the certificates on the wall for awhile, but we this came home in his backpack last week. Turns out Landon was Student of the Month in November for his class too. He didn't mention it to Erica at all! They are smart cousins, just not well informed. We are very proud!
 They are also superheroes!
We love Teague's new Hulk pajamas. He walks around and says, "Hulk smash" over and over and over again.
Ave had her birthday party on the 12th. As usual, it was at Silver Bow and as usual, she had lots of fun! It was super cold and the flu is going around (Poor Grandma Burgman had it) so we didn't have our usual crowd. It was still great. Grandma and Grandpa Barsness braved the roads, and she was very excited to see them.
Abb and Jord were very excited to give her this Belle and Beast doll they got for her in Disneyland. She loves it! She took it over to Auntie Erica's the next day to show her how awesome it is.
She was not as shy as usual. She said "thanks" to everybody and read every card like a good girl.
Teague and Liam looked so cute together riding on the racecar. Of course, I couldn't get them both to look at me at the same time!
See? Still cute!
She had a beautiful BRAVE cake this year. She loves that movie, Merida is super cool!
Imagine that...I didn't put in the candles where she wanted them. I never do anything right! She is too independent sometimes. I'm thinking that comes with being too smart.
Landon's singing face. I'm not sure what Ave is doing.
Carter massacred his cake. I'm not sure why it has to be stabbed. He looks good in his 49ers shirt though. Go 49ers! Go anyone but the Patriots!
What a cheesy cake face! I can't believe my girl is 4 already!
Madisyn was amazing at this basketball game. Dad said she shoots better than most of his sophomore basketball team1
Teague loves his Poppa. This is also a nice picture of Poppa's new shirt we got him for Christmas. It makes me laugh, and it's perfect for an English teacher. It says, "Let's eat Grandma." Then underneath, "Let's Eat, Grandma." Then "Commas save lives". I love it! Thanks so much for everyone coming and partying with us. We appreciate our families so much!

July - August 2019

My friend Michelle was in town from Las Vegas. Her brother and sister-in-law always have a fun barbecue for everyone here in town. Dana, Jas...
