Three lovely videos

These are three videos from Saturday night. I had Lando overnight, and we had a fun time together. Here's me and Avery playing in the front room while the boys were in Carter's room eating cake. She was being quite silly and bouncy.

The boys had some crazy energy so Avery and I moved into the hallway to watch them play with the horse and the bike. They do this everytime they are together at my house - switch back and forth between the two.

Last one: more playing. The boys decided falling off the horse was pretty fun. Avery makes some nice sounds too. Nothing too exciting, but we had a good time!

Random cuteness galore

Avery was having a great time in her activity thing on Saturday. Sometimes she just tolerates it, but she was actually enjoying it that night!

Lando spent the night on Saturday. The boys were very good. They had a little cake time while they watched Bolt. That movie is cute. It taught Carter to say "That one's a keeper" every time he takes a picture now.
We went to Emerson for a nice little walk. Me, Dad, Erica, Laney, and three strollers. I bet we looked pretty funny. Anyway, Lando didn't feel like wearing a shirt. He looks so fast in this picture!
Carter had a fine time at Emerson also except we kept having to shake the rocks out of his Lightning McQueen sandals.
He looks so silly here. As you can see, he did not feel like wearing clothes either...so we got in our Transformers pajamas a little early.
Ave took a little snooze on the walk to Emerson. She's my good baby.
She is a squirming little girl. She rolls, she scoots, she'll do anything to grab stuff. She was going for a book here to read with those big eyes!
We can't take Carter to Walmart anymore. Everytime we're there we have to find the Mickey Mouse car. He loves it, but he gets sad when it's time to leave.
More scooting and rolling. I have to try and get a picture of that one tooth. It's through, and the one right next to it is coming.
It was Evel Knievel weekend. I went up for about three hours on Thursday night while Abb, Terr, and Jord watched the kids. It was pretty fun. I ran into Erica who was at a bachelorette party. Kyle worked all three nights and said Friday and Saturday were crazy.
Avers was funny jumping outside. She wasn't too sure at first about that grass under her feet! She looked so cute holding the plastic banana in her funny onesie from Erica. It said "Smart" and then had a shiny cookie underneath!
She's such a goofy little girl. She was outside with Aunt Terri. Being outside always makes her happy. There's just so much to look at.
Carter was looking totally cool the other day in this Cars outfit. His friend Madisyn got it for him for his birthday. The shorts were a little large but so stylish.
Here's Avery with her buddy Auntie Erica down at C Street Park. She was having a bad teething day so we went for a stroller ride. It always seems to calm her down. You can see she's playing with her Tylenol.
The boys were being turkeys and picking some poppies the other day. Luckily they're pretty much bloomed out anyway. Erica and I put the flowers in our hair, and then they wanted to do the same. He looks gorgeous!

It's oh so quiet

We had a pretty relaxing week. Nothing much happening - although my Carterman does have a sinus infection. He was still in a fine mood. He found the old Northwestern Energy hat which for some reason, he just loves. He was looking good in these clothes Poppa picked out for him in Spokane. Carter really likes the shiny shorts.

We went to a wedding reception Saturday night for my friend Cristin. It was nice, but really warm. It was over 90 that day! Avery looked absolutely gorgeous in this dress that my friend Lisa gave us. It was very light. Luckily both kids were quite charming there.
This is not the best picture by any means, but her Daddy was making her laugh on the floor. I just thought this onesie was hilarious. It said "Capricorn - December 22-January 19 - the goat" and the little goat had a furry body and beard. It amused me.
Poppa let Carterman have the cake cutter and all of Uncle Kyle's leftover birthday cake. He's so spoiled. He just scraped all the frosting off and ate it!
Mom got this cute little outfit for Avery down in Vegas. She looked lovely in her little sea shells. Erica was happy too becuase it wasn't pink. We like pink, but I'm pretty sure 80% of girl stuff has some pink in it!
I took this when we were leaving Safeway. Erica made a fun CD for the boys full of kids songs. He was either singing "Wheels on the Bus", "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse", or "I'll Make a Man out of You" from Mulan. Those are his favorites. Look at his beat up little knees - what a boy!
Mason and Madisyn came over for a little visit. Avery really liked Mason's onesie. She tried to eat it! He's such a cutie.
Madisyn and Carter have been wanting to see eachother. So of course, when we got together they ignored eachother. Madisyn was tired though. She had a big day of fun outside.
Mason is starting to sit up very well by himself. He is one of the calmest babies I've ever seen! It's always nice to see my pal Ritter and the kids.
Another hat picture. He's going a little bit gangster in this one. Although that sweet face isn't earning him any street cred.
This is my girl's favorite book. It's called "That's not my dolly". She feels all the pages and is starting to try and turn them herself.
We took a little trip to Emerson last week to let the boys play. Avery went down some of the slides with Abb and Jord too. She wore herself out as you can see!
Carter still hasn't let us put his picnic table from Grandma Bonnie outside. He likes it in his room, so he can eat cake while he watches a movie!
This was earlier that day at Erica and Landon's house. I just wanted to show that the boys were wearing the same shorts. I think the people at daycare think we call eachother in the morning to dress them alike. We don't!
Avery was having a lot of fun with some of Carter's toys. She really liked this block that says all the words from "Brown Bear, Brown Bear What do you see?". That's another book she likes. The block is bigger than her head!
Avery's starting to sit up a lot better too. She's kind of a turkey. She always wants to stand.
My little Aves really enjoys her bath. She was in there the other night for about 45 minutes. Her little feet were beyond wrinkled! Her daddy was holding her since she's too little for her seat still.
We always try to bathe them together on Sunday night since we're both home. They were comparing ducks here. Callie got Avery a princess one and Carter a police one. Avery thought hers was delicious!

Folk Festival fun

We went to the National Folk Festival this weekend in Uptown Butte, and it was awesome! We didn't get to go last year because of Goosetown, but I'm so glad we did this year. There were over 100,000 people there over three days! Here's the view when we were leaving on Sunday. The "Original Stage" is actually under the Gallow's Frame. On Saturday night the people pretty much covered that entire lawn.
Here's my little cuties down on Park Street. There were three different stages so we did quite a bit of walking. It was good exercise. Avery absolutely loved her stroller so that was good! Kyle had a great time sampling all the food. Our lunch was from Australia - it was delicious.
Erica and I took Abb and Jord up on Sunday to see the break dancers - The Massive Monkees - from Seattle. They were amazing. I can't imagine how strong they have to be to do some of those moves! Abbey and Jordan loved it, but they were tired. They flew in from Vegas that morning and were up at 3:30 in the morning.
This was Saturday night. Carter was on Kyle's shoulders to watch the break dancers. Erica had Landon too. I wish I would have got a picture of him. He was dancing and telling us to dance. "Mia - you gotta dance!". Our kids were so good - we were up there until 10:30.
My little girl was quite happy to see everyone (Mom, Terri, Abb, and Jord) again. Look at those bottom gums! Dr. Graham said he doesn't feel anything sharp yet, but that her gums are pretty swollen. Her 6 month appointment went great. She's still a little thing though - 13.5! She loves vegetables though. She's had carrots and sweet potatoes so far, and she loves them.
Friday was a lonely day! Dad and Erica were in Billings, Kyle was at work, Little Kyle was at Goosetown, and the ladies were in Vegas...so Avery, Carter, and I hung out at Grandma Vivian's for awhile. Avery had a good time rolling around on her floor and putting her pacifier in upside down.
I took Carter to Clark's Park for a little while last week. He was a maniac. There are so many slides and swings there, and he just wanted to run. He looks so little here - this is where the ice skating rink is in the winter. In the summer, it's just a giant ring of dirt and grass.
He did find a horsey though. That always makes him happy. He even gave it a hug goodbye when we were leaving!
My girl has discovered the joy of the jumparoo. I put her in there the other night when Carter was taking a bath. She's quite bouncy in it! She's taking a little rest here!
Carterman had a fun Thursday night with Uncle Kyle. Carter would run from couch to couch and Uncle Kyle would throw pillows at him. So much fun!
Carter would laugh and laugh and say "Uncle Kyle got me"!
Then he would climb on the couch next to Kyle and try to hit him with pillows. He's such a boy!
Carter really enjoyed petting Poppa's bald head. He kept saying "My mommy cut all your hair".
We played a delightful and highly competitive game of Scrabble the other night. Landon helped Erica out by putting a drink holder on her head! One of the best parts of this picture is the pictures of Kyle on the calendar.
Carter went from person to person "helping" them build some words.
This was the first time in the jumparoo. She looks a bit crazy!
Super Carter! He wore these pajamas and Landon's winter boots to Walmart the other day. We got many compliments on that gorgeous outfit!
More tummy time. I keep waiting for her to take off. I swear she spends more time on her belly than any baby ever. She just loves rolling!
This is Landon's "Hot Dog" dance. I think he was working on the Goofy part. He's pretty good at it; the boy's got some rhythm!

July - August 2019

My friend Michelle was in town from Las Vegas. Her brother and sister-in-law always have a fun barbecue for everyone here in town. Dana, Jas...
