The family is here!

We have Erica, Landon, Kelsie, Joe, Lincoln, Terri, Drea, and Chris in for a visit. We've had lots of fun, and the two babies are very good and not shy! This was the night before they arrived. My handsome baby doing a real smile.
Drea and Terri were here a few days before everybody else. We met them at Silver Bow for lunch. All the kids had a lot of fun together.
Jordan took Teagie and Drea on the carousel. She's the best.
The two buddies are back together again! Carterman looks ghostlike in this picture. I know Landon's tan, but I thought Carter was sort of too!
Drea loved Jordan right away!
We met them at the splash pad the next day. There was hardly anyone there, and the kids had a lot of fun. It is much better when it's not so crowded!
Carterman was soaked!
Austin, Ave, and Carter under the umbrella!
Carter, Landon, and Ave squirting eachother - always a favorite.
Teague even got his feet wet! He's kind of a wimp at the splash pad. He loves a pool, but not splashing I guess.
Drea is not a wimp! She absolutely loved playing in all the water. She's so cute!
Drea is a big fan of Avery. So is Lincoln. Maybe it's because she'll get down to their level, play with them, and copy them. They were having a nice talk here.
Lincoln is here! We picked them up in Belgrade and went straight to Famous Dave's for Dad's birthday dinner. It was delicious, and the kids enjoyed getting to know eachother. Ave looks nuts here. She was trying to hide the salt and pepper from Linky Lou.
On Monday we played a delightful game of baseball down at C Street Park. Ken is pitching to Jordan here, while Kelsie and Laney play the field.
I like this action shot. Jord is running. Landon is throwing the ball into Carter. Pretty sure she made it home safe! It was so fun!
The kiddos cooled off under the pine tree for awhile. It was a hot day!
Time to walk back to Papa's. Drea and Erica were walking buddies.
Drea and Teague played nicely together on Terri's kindle too. They were pretty good at puzzles!
Lastly, Carter was sleeping like this the other night. I had to take a picture. They'll be plenty more pictures to come!

One week left before both sisters are here!

We had a pretty fun week around here. The countdown is on though - we can't wait until Erica, Landon, Kelsie, Joe, and Lincoln are coming to visit! We grew some peas at Mom and Dad's house. My helper is showing them off as usual.
On Monday I drove the four kiddos down to meet Erica in Billings. She couldn't handle another week without Landon! We drove straight to Chuckie Cheese! The kids had a blast there.
Carter was very good at this shooting game...must be the horrid video games he plays. I try, but I don't like them.
This is what Teague used 80% of his tokens on. He liked to go up and down in the rocket over and over again.
Landon played all kinds of games. He has some excellent shooting form here.
She's nuts. What else is there to say?
Erica rented a room in an awesome hotel. It had cute little wooden bears outside some of the windows - we got one! Good acting Lando :)
The hotel had an awesome pool area - dumping buckets, 2 slides, a basketball hoop, and 2 water blasters. Teague had a good time manning them.
I only got two pictures. I had to get in the pool with my little ones. I hope Erica got some. There were four of these floating foam "logs" with a net above to hold on while you tried to cross. Carter and Landon absolutely loved them!
After a tasty Olive Garden dinner, we discovered the place across the street had miniature golf until 11pm. We had a good time! Look at these fools - they make me laugh.
This is how we found Teague and Landon sleeping in the morning! We left early. Erica and Landon had tee-ball, and we had Carter's first soccer game.
It was a monsoon! I can't believe they played. It was honestly the loudest thunder I've ever heard. Luckily we had Terri's umbrella in the truck still.
Carter is in the tall blue socks. He had a great time. It was pretty funny.
Lookin good!
On Thursday Ritter's kids came over while she ran to the dentist. Miss Myla is the sweetest little baby. I enjoyed hanging out with her while the others ran amuck!
Thursday was also another magic show at the library which was really good and funny (we got these rocket balloons there). It was also Uncle Kyle's birthday! Happy 27th brother! He helped the monkeys blow up their balloons.
They were ready to have a rocket balloon race - all with their favorite colors of course.
Carter got a library book called "60 Simple Science Experiments". We tried two of them right when we got to Papa's. This one is the vinegar/baking soda reaction. A classic!
He was enthralled. Science is his favorite subject.
These two are peas in a pod when it comes to late night snacks. Teague couldn't even get pajamas on when he saw Kyle bring out the ice cream.
Dad came back from the Spokane volleyball camp at 2 am on Friday. He brought Teague an alien to hang out with his superheroes. He loves it!
We made it up to the Relay for Life for a few hours on Friday. We decorated the luminaries that they had out for Grandma and Grandpa Connors. I had just bought Bob's so it wasn't out yet. It was a nice time as usual.
Ave was having a lot of fun getting twisted up on the swings...
and flying around! She was going fast!
Teague was giving his Daddy a head and back massage. What a guy!
Lastly...I'm trying something new. I am attempting to make Kimchee with a couple of the cabbages from my garden. Kyle and I have always wanted to try it - we like spicy food. I also made four different kinds of Kale chips today. We decided the garlic ones were the best.

A Lando visit :)

This summer has been wearing my little man out. He hardly ever naps anymore so he has been exhausted at night. I love how Crockie is right by his face.
I was trying to get a picture of Teague is his "Genius" shirt. It makes me laugh, and he looks so cute in it. This was the best one I got!
Landon has spent the week with us. We did swimming lessons M-Th, and they were always starving afterward. We walked up to Dairy Queen for lunch one day. Delicious!
The big boys in their matching pajamas. Erica and I always had a habit of accidentally dressing them the same for school! I guess it still works. Teague jumped in for a boys picture!
Carter had his first soccer practice at Emerson on Thursday. The coach let Landon play too, and they had a blast. While they were kicking, Crockie was trying out the slide.
Ave cooled off in the sand. The boys were sweaty when they were done! Then we went straight to volleyball open gym where they played some basketball. It's non-stop fun around here!
I managed one distant shot of them working on their footwork. Not a good picture. It was pretty funny though. They have their first game Tuesday after one practice. That should be hilarious!
Ave and I did our first lettuce harvest. We also had four strawberries ready that day. I ate one before Teague got a hold of them. I also had salad that day :)
My friend Michelle is in town for her Dad's 60th birthday party. She invited us, and we had a blast. Michelle set up a photo booth - Teague had fallen in their fountain and had to take his wet shorts off!
This one kills me. They look like Andre 3000 and Big Boi from OutKast.
Ave joined in too. They ran around for 5 hours! It was a really great night!
The fountain became a pool after awhile. Lots of splashing ensued!
We made it to the Folk Festival today. It's probably my favorite thing in Butte. The people are so nice, the music is awesome, and the food is tasty (catfish tacos from Louisiana - mmm...)! The kids always enjoy a good snow cone.
This is such a cute picture! Cousins getting along!
The kids stuff is always cute. I love the city in the background.
Astronaut Lando
Astronaut Teague - driving with his eyes shut!
Jordan and Abbey found us when they got back from Vegas. The kids were so excited to see them!
They had a giant sandbox, garnet prospecting, a petting zoo, and a few different art activities. They all enjoyed this painting one.
What a masterpiece!
The aftermath... We've had a very fun, busy week and weekend. I love summer!

July - August 2019

My friend Michelle was in town from Las Vegas. Her brother and sister-in-law always have a fun barbecue for everyone here in town. Dana, Jas...
