Some videos

This is an older video from July. It's Carter doing his "Yi Yi" shooting. He's stopped doing this (which is probably good), but it was pretty funny while it lasted!

Carter was being goofy one night with a straw and lid from Wendy's. He'd go to the very corner of little Kyle's room and play this silly game. He did this for about 15 minutes!

This is the video of them playing on the hills in Missoula. It's a little like the Blair Witch Project in the beginning (Erica's camera work is a bit shaky). I didn't know she was taking a video either, or I wouldn't have talked so much. Anyway, it's pretty cute, but they were getting a bit tired.

This last one is of the boys playing at the mall. It's quite funny. Jordan and I could not stop laughing. You can see how Carter tries so hard to keep up with Landon!

Super Long

Sorry it took so long for me to post anything. Last week was crazy. We came back from Kalispell on Sunday, and Monday was volleyball tryouts and Carter's first day at his new daycare (with Landon, so that's nice). I also saw my buddies Michelle, Ritter, and Madisyn Sunday night. Lots of fun but very hectic!
We went to Father Sheehan park on Saturday (Erica was working, so it was me, Grandma, and the boys). It was really hot and quite fun. Here's Blue Guy chilling on the rock wall while the boys were sliding.
There was a nice cool pile of gravel under the rock wall. Landon decided to lay down in it a couple times. He is a very silly boy.
Carter loves swings. I think he was in this one for probably forty-five minutes all together. Everytime I tried to get him out he would shake his head no.
Landon was obsessed with this dinosaur that he thought was a "Croc-a-Dale". Guess who taught him that word while they were reading books?
This park was probably the best one we've ever been to. It had four steering wheels! That is usually what the boys fight over.
Landon did some awesome chin-ups here. Carter just liked to put rocks on the circles. I'm not sure what this is really there for.
It was kind of chilly on Wednesday night so we took the boys to the mall. Carter says "mall" now whenever he sees a building. They were maniacs. I have a hilarious video to put up of them.
He kind of falls over when he comes down off the slide. He does it on purpose, and it's quite amusing.
Landon also enjoyed the slide a lot. He ran around the mall a bit as you can tell by his dirty socks!
See if you can guess which one is Carter's Daddy's shoe. There is a very slight difference.
Thank you to Auntie Kelsie and Terri up in Alaska! They sent Landon and Carter some cool conductor gear and glow-in-the-dark pajamas. They also sent really cute baby girl clothes for my little one that's coming Jan. 1st. You guys are awesome!
We went to Kalispell a couple weekends ago to visit my Aunt Diane and Uncle Art. It was lots of fun; we haven't been up just to visit in a long time. This is on the way home. Both boys crashed pretty much right away.
We stoppped in Missoula to let the boys run around and get a little break from the car. We found a really cute Head Start Park. The boys had a ton of fun running up and down this hill. I have a video to put up.
I just thought this face was cute. They worked so hard on those hills. They looked like little mountain climbers.
Landon had a good time going through this tunnel. We kept telling him he could crawl, but he liked to scoot on his butt instead!
This was at Woodland Park in Kalispell. Carter thought the merry-go-round was lots of fun. We had to make him hold on becuase he just wanted to walk around while it was moving.
Here's a big group photo of the fam feeding the ducks. That park is so pretty, and some of the ducks are not shy! You can't be mad either Terri - you're face is not in the picture!
Here's Carter's awesome throwing form. One time he threw a piece of bread straight up in the air onto Jordan's head.
Here's the boys swinging. I just think they look so cute. They were very good in Kalispell, and really enjoyed all of Diane's toys and cooking! She's an excellent hostess.
Landon takes good care of Carter. Here he is giving him a little push.
We all were laughing at Carter and the motorbikes. There was this one and a really tiny one, and he would drive them both around by holding onto their handlebars.
Diane has a beautiful back yard. We ate out there a couple times, and the boys ran wild. Abbey and Jordan had a good time in the pool and on the trampoline.
We went to the Woodland Park Swimming Pool on Saturday. It is an awesome place. Erica has all the pictures from there. My only one is Carter's sunscreen hair on the way! We had a great time - thanks again Diane and Art.
Here's a random bath picture. They love the bath until it's time to wash their hair - then it's torture. I think Carter is trying to splash and Lando's got the flower pot.
Landon is a crazy splasher. He absolutely soaks everyone around him. He looks so happy here - that face kills me.
Carter is not a big fan of Landon's splashing. He tries to climb out if it gets him in the face. Landon looks so pleased with himself!
Grandma taught Carter and Landon how to cheer for the Olympics, which I'm very sad are now over. Carter puts up his fists and yells "Go Go Go".
Grandma got the boys some new books from Amazon. They had a good time checking them out when they came. I love Carter's shirt that Terri, Abb, and Jord got him.
This picture is funny. Carter was pushing Landon's stroller around the yard and didn't realize he was heading for the sprinkler. As you can see, he ran right out!
This is just a giant cheesy grin. That's a nice way to end this post I think!

More summer fun

I have been wanting to put Carter in this outfit since he got it from Nate on his birthday, but it was always too big. I think those shorts are the cutest things I've ever seen. We had to roll the shorts, but he wore them. He got many compliments too. As you can see, he's trying to wear my flip-flops.
This is what happened when they came unrolled. I had to take this funny picture before they came all the way down around his ankles!
We had breakfast at Great Harvest Saturday morning. Carter ate most of his pancake and then told us "Da Done".
Erica thinks Landon looks like he was in trouble here. It does - but he was actually just coloring while sitting on a nice rocking chair at breakfast.
Mom got the boys some nice Tech hats for the winter. Landon found his a little early. He looks so cute.
Jordan's bike is a big source of fun for the boys. We made her hide it the other day so they wouldn't want to sit on it every two seconds. This is such a cute picture of Lando.
We were at the playground at Emerson, and Laney was in a crazy mood. It must have been her new haircut. She was giving everyone kisses (which Carter loves).
Landon is a maniac. We had to keep him from trying to go down the plastic rock wall a couple times.
Carter loves this tunnel slide. He always peeks at me before he comes down. He must have went down about six or seven times that night.
This is the jungle picture. The boys were picking some long grass at C Street Park to feed to the horses down the street. They look so silly.
Here's a nice picture of me and Carterman swinging. It was very sunny that day. He loves to swing though. He always points to them as soon as we get there.
Carter and Landon have realized that you can walk behind the tree at my parents' house. They always look a little surprised everytime they come out on the other side.
Jordan decided to do a puzzle the other day. Carter was absolutely fascinated by how many pieces there were. He was making the funniest faces at her.
Carter is obsessed with shoes. Callie thinks this may be due to her (it's quite possible)! He is a very goofy little boy.
We went to the circus last week. It was hot and there were many scary people there. The boys loved the elephants, horses, llamas, and zebra though. Carter (don't look at me please) had a fun time on the ponies - he was neighing at them.
I let Carter have some of my iced tea the other night. He was so happy he danced around with it.
He also played peek-a-boo upstairs with Grandma. So did Landon - they were laughing so hard.

Cute Little Guys

Erica got some pictures of the boys playing in their pool last week. I guess they weren't in there for very long, but they look happy in the pictures.
Carter loves these squirt guns. He could play with them every single day.
They are both so cute! I just love when they play together so nice.
Landon is getting good about trying new things...like chocolate chip pancakes. Kyle kept calling him "Sanchez" because of his cool mustache!
The boys got these cool "hard hats" at Evel Knievel Dayz. They were both very interested in trying them on the other night.
We went to the Relay for Life on Friday night until 11. It was very nice - they sold over 2,000 luminaries. Landon was looking super cool in his Hawaiian shirt that Grandpa Dale got for him.
Here's a nice picture of Carter at the Relay. It was getting a little later here. Both boys were very good up there.
This picture just makes me laugh. This is the face Landon made for me when I asked him to "smile". He is a goofball.
Landon was eating a blue sucker (notice his lips) while sitting on Erica - then two seconds later he passed out. I love the sprawl and the tan lines by his feet.
Carter also passed out about ten minutes before Landon on my lap. I guess the Relay wore them out. I changed his diaper while he was asleep, and he just stayed in the nice, comfy frog position!
Whenever Abbey wins a game of Spider Solitaire, Carter has to come over and look at the fireworks that come on the screen. He thinks they are pretty cool.
He's really starting to love the swings. He was having a good time with Jordan down at C Street Park. I think he was pointing at the horses that you can see from the park.
They are very nice horses. If you bring over some tall grass, they will gladly eat it. There are four of them, but I don't know any of their names.
Here's Erica and Lando going down the slide. We were there pretty late that night because both boys just needed to go do something.
Here's a nice action photo of Carter. He loves slides. I'm also pleased to report that the monkey tattoo did finally come off his leg a couple days ago!
Erica got the boys a really cool "Cars" table. They had been making a big mess on the coffee table every time they ate. They both really like the chairs.
I don't know what this face was, but it makes me laugh. Carter and Landon were really enjoying their dinner of tuna fish, cheese, and crackers. Yum! Yum!
Bubbles! If Carter sees someone doing the dishes at Grandma and Grandpa's house, he just has to get up there and "help" them...by playing with bubbles.
He is fascinated by flipflops. He just doesn't understand how they stay on people's feet. He had one of Abbey's on the right way for a little while!
Landon woke up from his nap with some of the coolest hair I've ever seen. I just had to get a picture!
He's a monkey! Landon is determined to scale the fence and go over into the neighbors' yard to see their kitty.
Just one last cool guy picture. He loves sunglasses - especially around his neck or on the very top of his head. He's a cutie man.
