Birthdays

I turned 33 on the 28th...Wow! We had some delicious tacos, and I picked some wildberry pie for dessert. The kiddos had cupcakes of course. I love how Lando is leaning in here!
I can't ever get all 3 smiling at the same time!
We had a fun night out on the town. Very quiet, pretty much just us, and that was fine with me!
There are never any pictures of us. It's not great, but it'll do!
Time to say goodbye to Landon and Erica :( Carter spent every night with him while he was here. As usual, Carter looks pained when someone tells him to smile! We miss them already!
On New Year's Eve, we went out to finally look at Christmas lights since we weren't doing anything else. We had to take a picture with the Christmas pig first. He was a favorite this year.
One if front of the decorated playhouse too. I hate that sign next to it, but Papa likes it (and it's his house I guess).
The next morning my girl was 5 years old! I find this very hard to believe. It doesn't seem like she should be that old yet. She opened some presents at home from Great-Grandma Bonnie, Grandma Diana and Grandpa Dick, and us. She was very excited to get a "Good Luck Charlie" DVD! It's one of our favorite Disney shows. Kyle and I find ourselves watching it even when the kids are not there.
Carter was helpful with the presents. He's a good big brother. This box had her Frozen dolls from Dick and Diana and a ton of cute clothes. She absolutely loves the dolls and has played with them every day!
She wore all new clothes to Papa's that afternoon (check out that pose). We had a good time playing outside. It's weird to see barely any snow in the yard - it's full now!
The playhouse is always fun!
A Teagie-Pie in the tree!
All three climbing with the sun shining!
Time to open a few more. Grandma and Papa Burgman got her a Frozen shirt and a wand that plays Elsa's song from the movie. They got her some stuff for her new American girl Julie too (even her little dog "Coconut").
We got her this Minnie's boutique set. It had a ton of outfits! She also got a shirt, socks, and a Ken doll from Lando, Sean, and Erica. Terri, Abb, and Jord got her the Croods movie and a really cool Princess book. She's just a bit spoiled!
We made a cake with chocolate ganache for her birthday. It was tasty! She has a Despicable Me one for her party on the 12th at the Jumparoo. Also, the Crown Royale bag has marbles in it in case any one is wondering!
It wasn't the prettiest, but I let her frost and decorate it. Plus it tasted good, and that's all that matters!
No boyfriends yet, she blew out all the candles!
A typical night with Teague (although it looks like Kyle is playing here.) He loves to get out all his Octonauts stuff and take up the whole table!
Ave and her puppy. Lane always lays in the sunshine if she can.
Thor had a rough night. He threw a fit and fell asleep in the front room with his hammer. I love these pajamas! Dick and Diana got him these and some Hulk ones. We got him Iron Man. He's set!
