Old Fairmont pics and a Museum visit!

Erica gave me some pictures from Fairmont a long time ago and I kept forgetting to put them up! So here is our adventure from when Kelsie was here. We had lots of fun. It was a Tuesday, about 80 degrees, and Fairmont wasn't crowded at all. There was no line for the slide either (which we went down many times - the boys on their own usually). It was perfect! Here's Kyle showing off his muscles.
Mr. Teague was a good boy out there. He finally fell asleep after about three hours in the pool.
Time to drag three monkeys over to the shallow end!
Erica and Lando in the warm sunshine.
A group shot - not all of us - but some of us. Look at Carter and Landon, they're so cute!
One of our usual fam pictures...crazy!
My little Googles is so cute. She loved just walking around by herself in the shallow end, finding the warm jets.
Kels working with Teague on his front floats...makes me kind of sad. We miss you Kels!
And now...our newest adventure. We went over to the Museum of the Rockies on Sunday. Carter has been wanting to go for awhile and Mom and Dad were making a Costco trip anyway. Teague absolutely loved it this time!
Checking out some ocean life. Teaguers got his little face up there moments later.
Carter knows so much about dinosaurs (and animals in general). He knew this bird from the book Mary Jo and Phil got him for Christmas. It has three sections: life before the dinosaurs, dinosaurs, and life after the dinosaurs. He saw this and said, "Hey, that's a Hesperonis", and sure enough it was! He pretty much amazed everyone with his, "That's a trilobite", "Grandma, come see this plesiosaur!", and "Troodons are also called Stenonychosaurus". He kills me.
I'm not sure if this is a dinosaur "Roar" face or his new silly face. Either way, he really enjoyed himself. Carter is intently watching how to dig up dinosaurs. He wants to be a paleontologist.
Avers was in heaven in the Triceratops room. Those have always been her favorite. She made sure I got a good picture of the giant one!
Teague loves real food (and play food). He played in the log cabin kitchen in the Yellowstone area for a good 40 minutes. He put the pizza in the oven, then out, then in, then out...and so on. He was on a mission. Then he found a spatula. What could be better?
Ave did a little camping in the tent.
Here's the pizza Mom!
Time to cook it for the 80th time.
The cousins after visiting the awesome gift shop!
Ave got a girl dinosaur shirt (which are difficult to find), some dinosaur magnets, and this awesome smashed penny with a T-Rex on it.
We had some lunch at Famous Dave's. This is one of the many reasons I love my Carterman. He came over just to give his brother a little squeeze. Not sure what kind of face he's making, but he's so nice!
Ave had to play with some new dinosaur bath toys that Grandma picked out. She and Teague had fun squirting eachother!
Then Monday night, they decided to throw dirt on eachother at my outdoor volleyball game. So Ave took her first shower (Carter loves them). They had lots of fun doing karate moves in the shower. They are goofballs!
