Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a busy week. Monday after we picked up Ave from tumbling, we went straight to my friend Alicia's parents' house. She was in town for a week, and it was great to see her. Her kids are getting so big. Bryson, who will be 2 on December 30th, loved Teague. Teague was very good about sharing too!
Brooklyn is 4. She thought Avery was really cool. They played together very well and talked about all things Disney.
On Tuesday, Jamie, Nicole, Liam, and Austin came over for a playdate. The kids had a blast, and so did we. We decided we need to do this once a month. Cousins pledge!
Carter was about ready for bed as you can see. The kids had a lot of fun though!
Laney is doing her best to keep Avery warm. It has been quite frigid here!
Carter brought this home from school. It was his technology assignment. He was really proud of his first acrostic poem! His favorite part was changing the text color at the top and finding a blue turkey sticker. He's the sweetest.
Heading up to Sunburst for Thanksgiving. The roads were okay on the way up, but there was the weirdest low fog.
3 Good looking kids on Thanksgiving.
All the Barsness cousins. They get along great! We are always happy to see Breanne, Colt, and Kaden.
Teague and Kaden are good buddies. They had a lot of fun with these felt scenes that Grandma Diana had for them.
She also had some new books. Avery and Carter each read one of these fairy tale stories told from different perspectives. For example, the evil Stepmother told her side of Cinderella. They were cute.
All kids bond over Minecraft!
Teague loves a tiny notebook. He was drawing Star Wars scenes here and showing them to Avery. He was laughing about his General Grievous I think.
Ave's note to me, and my reply. She's a goofball.
Teague was quite impressed with Grandma Diana's chocolate roll. He loved it as much as Kyle always does! Everything was delicious up there!
On Saturday the weather got a little warmer - 45 degrees! It was perfect for playing outside at the farm. Lady absolutely loves kids. She followed these guys everywhere!
Teague trying to sneak a piece away from Lady. She liked to break the big hunks.
I love this picture. 3 nice smiles!
Carter throwing a big snowball for Lady. She was really good at catching them and breaking them up.
She loves the snow!
I went over to Phil and Mary Jo's to visit my old buddy Josie. She is getting old, but she was thrilled to see everyone.
Mmm...Grandma Bonnie's caramel rolls are one of my favorite things. These guys enjoyed them too! Callie served them up. She surprised everyone by driving over after the Griz game started. The South Dakota team stayed at her hotel. We were all happy to see her!
Now back out to the snow!
Ave liked the unbroken snow.
Then she worked for UPS. This was her computer.
The Cut Bank Barsness's made it out there a bit later. Still plenty of time for Kaden to play though.
Luckily Auntie Ali brought snowpants for all my kids. The one thing I forgot to pack! Thanks Ali! Teague looked awesome in these Carhardts.
Two silly little boys.
Carterman was building his own little fort. Then Colten came out, and they explored the whole farm together.
Me and my girl and some sunshine. It was a beautiful day!
5 kids and a dog having fun on a snow pile.
Teague's face is hilarious in this one! He's still a little wary of big dogs. Carter is totally tipped over. He wanted Lady to kiss his face...she did! Thanks everyone. We had a very nice visit.
We came back on Sunday and figured we might as well get our Christmas stuff out. These guys were ready with the first ornaments.
I love Christmas decorations. These guys were awesome about the tree this year too. They did the whole thing!
