April - June 2019

The kids actually like to come to the softball games with me now that Stodden Park is so cool. Ave loves climbing this thing with her buddies. She kind of scares me because she goes too fast!
Tired pups. They love to be outside in spring weather.
Teague and Ms. Lynch (one of my good friends and a 5th grade teacher here) have a special bond. She was his daycare teacher when he was little little. This is a cool dance she taught him!
Carterman had another spectacular Nerf War birthday party at Butte High. They ran around like maniacs, and there was lots and lots of laughter. We have l-r: Nate, Colby, Teague, Prestin, Lucas, Danny, Carter, Karstyn, Tyler, Braelynn, Ave, and Kyle.
This picture Abb had on Snapchat was the funniest thing I'd ever seen!
Erica and Kelsie were able to come in for Easter break, which was fun. The kids had a good time at the Carousel.

Time to dye some eggs! We made some lovely ones as always.
I can only imagine what amazing art work Papa was coming up with.
Very nice Lando.
Warning: Gross alert. Poor Teague fell on the playground at school and caught his lip on some playground equipment. It was pretty nasty looking, but we were happy that he didn't hurt his jaw or teeth. Here we are at the ER.
After three stitches it looked a lot better.
Unfortunately, the very next day, poor Teague had the worst nosebleed of his life! We ended up back at the ER, and they had to cauterize it twice. He had a very rough week!
These pictures are all messed up. This is my handsome 12 year old. I used this picture on his birthday.
All messed up! Here are some more carousel pictures. The three little boys wanted to be together.
So, the three big kids hung out.
More Easter egg pictures. We had some fun, shiny eggs this year.
Kyle loves when we go to Missoula because he can get Coldstone ice cream to take home with him. However, he is not very patient when it is very cold. Which is why his spoon slammed through the container!
Long story short, Teague's stitches did not hold. We ended up seeing a facial surgeon because the injury was a "burst" not a clean cut. Dr. Kaufman did an awesome job making sure his lips lined up correctly again. You can hardly see a scar. Teague is a lucky guy! Also, this was his smile for a while - he had a tooth that would stick out of his lips! They actually took it out during surgery so it didn't fall in his mouth.
Avery and Carter competed in the city track meet (4-6th grade). Carter did the 100 and the shotput. It's not really his sport, but I was proud of him for competing. Ave did the 100 and 200 and ended up taking second overall in both. Some of her best friends and basketball buddies also placed. Here she is with Ellie, Autumn, and Allie. I love that she has friends from all schools.
Bill Foley, who works for Butte Sports, got this picture of her. She definitely has her Dad's good form.
Carter and some of his Emerson buddies at the Shotput pit. He has a nice group of friends.
Out of order again. Here are the kiddos with Grandma Bonnie. I love this picture. They all look so happy!
Out of order again. Here she is on the stand. I love that the two Emerson girls took 1st and 2nd.
My little hairy friends in the sunshine. We love when it's nice enough to just hang out in the yard.
First softball trip of the year. Ave and Allie have been buddies since they started daycare together as babies.
Time for Carterman to graduate from 6th grade! I can't believe that went so fast. Here he is with his good friends, Lucas and Colby.
He really is such a good boy. We are proud of him.
Their class had a fun little party with lots of activities.
It was so good to see Carl and Jenny! It always is. I told them I would get going on the blog again. I'm really trying!
Landon liked to dance around with the bug zapper. The kid's got some moves.
We made a trip to Bozeman to visit the Museum of the Rockies. Their traveling exhibit was all about Genghis Khan. It was really interesting. He was definitely ahead of his time!
The kids always love the Yellowstone exhibit. I like that the big boys can be nerds together when they don't know anyone.
They tried on some of the dress up stuff at the Yellowstone exhibit. I think Ave might be the only one who fits in anything!
We got a picture of them next to all the different sizes/ages of triceratops. Link and Hawkins were there too, and my sisters. They must have been too busy running around for me to get a picture.
Time for softball fun! These guys had some coordinated jumps they were doing off the side of the pool.
This picture kills me! Kyle ended up getting a good workout in that night. He threw all the kids in the pool quite a few times. The faces on the other girls are hilarious! Ave really got some air. I love that Teague fits right in there with them too. They are good to him.
