My babies

This is just a cute picture of a chubby little baby face. She's gaining weight nicely - she was 7-15 when we went to the Dr. on Monday.
Avery met Aunt Nancy on Saturday. She promptly fell asleep on her shoulder. Nancy and Frank gave her some very cute clothes - Thanks!
The boys had a nice little nap on Saturday. They both slept with their hands locked behind their heads. Very cute!
There's the Carterman relaxing in his Wall-E shirt from Aunt Kelsie or "Telsie" as he calls her.
I love this outfit Aunt Terri got her. The stripes are delightful!
This is her purple outfit that I got her to wear to the Butte High/Butte Central game. She looked absolutely lovely and obviously brought them good luck!
Landon loved watching the game. He always knew where the basketball was and is a fantastic cheerer!
Carter was extremely tired at the game. He was good but kind of in a daze. He did enjoy quite a bit of popcorn though!
Carter has been a Wii maniac lately. His new favorite thing is to "box" with his Daddy. I love how he is sitting on Kyle's leg.
These boys are so silly. They were dipping Ritz crackers in frosting, which sounds really disgusting to me. They seemed to like it a lot though.
We seem to have caught Landon right in the middle of some kind of dance. He's got a lot of rhythm.
Just another scrunched up baby face. It looks like she was grunting here. She's a very grunty little girl.
I love this picture. Jordan looks beautiful, and Avery looks so tiny. Just a good image!
Here's her "I'm hungry" face. She was obviously ready to eat!
More Wii playing. Carter likes to "dribe" on the "TB". He's a goofball.
My babies - I just love them. Carter is so good to "Avy". He always says "Hi baby, hi baby" when he sees her.
We had Abbey's cake last Sunday so Kelsie would still be here. She actually had her "golden" birthday on the 13th. I can't believe she's that old!
Carter think it is the funniest thing ever when everyone is singing "Happy Birthday" or "Happy Day" as the boys call it. He looks at everyone like - "Wow, you all know the words"!
This was before I took the socks off her hands. I've actually cut her nails twice this week. She really likes to scratch at her face.
This is a fabulous picture. A naked Carterman chilling in the computer chair eating a tasty Cinnamon Goldfish cookie. He's got the life!

New stuff

This is a trick picture. This is actually Carter when he was a newborn. I kept this cute little sweet pea outfit for Avery since it was so cute. It is the next picture!
Here's Avery wearing the same outfit and enjoying the same aquarium. They look more alike than I thought at first. She has a bit less hair though!
Kyle got both boys to fall asleep at the same time - which is quite an amazing feat! They are good little guys.
I know this isn't the girliest outfit, but she needed a break from pink! She's been such a good baby so far - I can't believe how well she sleeps and eats.
Kelsie managed to get a picture of Avery's accidental smile! She was really smiley while she chilled with Aunt Terri.
Here's Carter enjoying a delicious pasty. Abbey made some little tiny ones that were just perfect for him. He had to have ketchup on it because Auntie "Telsie" had ketchup on hers!
Carter and Landon were such good helpers - Ha Ha!
They managed to get just a little bit of flour on themselves. That was their favorite part I think.
Dad found my Grandpa Winks's Larry Bird apron downstairs for Kelsie. It looked smashing on her.
This picture is hilarious. Carter was relaxing in his pink innertube while he played Abb and Jord's old Nintendo DS. I love how his feet are up.
This is one tired little guy. He was staring at that aquarium like it was hypnotizing him.
I like this picture of her lips. She makes some awfully cute faces. I know her socks/mittens are on in every picture. That's because she likes to claw her face when they are off.
Carter decided to eat some corn with a giant spoon. Big utensils are one of his favorite things to play with!

This is just a nice picture of Avery bathing in some sunlight. She looks so content!
Carter is such a goofball. He was flipping around in this thing all over the front room. He gets so silly every night at about nine o'clock.
She looks like such a cute little bundle when she's all curled up.
Carter and his Daddy got matching haircuts. Kyle said Carter kept picking up the hair and trying to put it back on his head. He was very good though.
Carter is such a nice big brother. He's giving Avery some kisses here. He really has been so good so far. It helps that Kyle has been off work to help everyday.
She seems so aware of everything when she's awake. I'm really glad Kelsie has got to spend so much time with her.
Carter absolutely loves Aunt Kelsie. He's had so much fun with her. He was getting the hair out of her face for her. What a nice guy!
Landon was being a "baby" and trying to go to sleep on Carter. It was pretty funny. It didn't last long!
This little outfit with the dance shoes on it is so cute! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Barsness.
I love when Carter puts his feet up on the table. I know it's not sanitary but it makes me laugh.
Kelsie made little Kyle hold her. He usually likes to wait until they're "fun"!

Avery is here!

Here's Carterman having a good time outside with Uncle Kyle. He loves to go outside and "shobel". He also loves to see his bootprints all over the snow.

Erica bought the boys these cool gloves. They were not big fans of mittens. These didn't last that long either, but they were awfully cute.
Carter liked them a lot more because he could hold his shovel better. He looked pretty awesome anyway!
Here's the big brother meeting his little sister for the first time! Avery Vivian Barsness arrived on Jan. 1st at 11:38pm. She was 20 inches long and weighed 7 lb 8 oz. Carter has been very nice to her so far. He pets her hair while she eats and kisses her toes. He's checking out her knees here.
Here's her cute little face while she was getting burped. She has chubby cheeks, two chins, and is very cute. We're not sure if she looks like Carter yet. She doesn't have her Daddy's cleft in his chin though. She does have a bit of jaundice so she has the billiblanket right now. That's the glow in the picture.
Here's her going home outfit. She looked lovely in her little turtle pajamas. We brought socks so she wouldn't scratch her face. They don't match but they work well.
Here's some of our visitors at the hospital. Aunt Kelsie, Aunt Erica, Landon, Jordan, and Abbey were quite attentive to her.
Auntie Kelsie surprised all of us. We thought she was coming in the 4th, and she came in the 2nd. She and Erica had a little plan worked out. It's so nice to have her here. We haven't seen her since last Christmas!
Jordan and Abbey were so happy that RSV wasn't going around. There were no hospital restrictions so they could be up there the night she was born. They weren't allowed to come visit when Carter was born. It killed them. Jordan has some red in her hair right now. It's slowly washing out.
Here's Abbey holding her. Mom, Erica, Terri, Abb, and Jord all waited patiently in the waiting room to meet Avery. I went to the hospital about 7:15, so we didn't have to wait too long.
She likes to have her hands up by her face just like Carter did. He still sleeps with his arms straight up!
Grandma Burgman had her making funny faces! I guess she was hungry right away.
There's a lovely shot of me and my little girl. I was glad to finally meet her. She seems pretty good natured so far!
Here's Daddy and his girl. He can't believe she's here already. Apparently it went a lot faster for Kyle then it did for me!
Abb and Jord brought over the Wii again. It has been a nice distraction for Carterman. He ended up at the emergency room at 4am the night I had Avery. He has the croup. The Prednisone made him a bit crazy too. Luckily, he's feeling much better now.
He's getting some crazy hair. It's almost time for a haircut. He's talking to Buzz Lightyear on the phone and drinking out of Jordan's water bottle. He calls it "Jocko's Juice".
Here's Landon's tree that he made at daycare. I meant to put these up a long time ago. They are so cute.
Here's Carter's tree. Daycare does lots of fun little art projects. Now, it's time to go feed my little one!

July - August 2019

My friend Michelle was in town from Las Vegas. Her brother and sister-in-law always have a fun barbecue for everyone here in town. Dana, Jas...
