A lovely fall week!

Teague has a wide variety of awesome Halloween shirts that have been passed down from Landon and Carter. He really enjoys wearing them!
Emerson has a program to teach kids about exotic fruits and vegetable. Ave brought home a rambutan last week. She said not all the kids wanted to take one, but she was excited.
It looks like a little sea urchin, but it didn't have painful spikes.
There's the inside. The white jelly part is the edible part. Ave and I tried some. It was very sweet. That's a cool program they have.
Poor Teagie Pie has been exhausted lately. I think he might be growing again. This is him sleeping in the ball carrier at volleyball practice. It was super cute!
I hardly have any pictures of Carter this week because he got to go to his first overnight birthday party at Fairmont! We also had 5 others last week. I said it made me think about homeschooling (totally joking of course). Two of them were for Connor and Austin. I was in Missoula for volleyball, but the kids had tons of fun there!
Grandma and Grandpa Barsness were in this weekend. We had lots of fun just hanging out with them. We also had some tasty food (thanks again!) This is poor Teague passed out on a chair at The Derby!
Then again the next night, he was passed out at Mackenzie River. Carter did a nice photobomb here with his mouth full of Mac n Cheese!
Grandma and Grandpa Barsness got them some pretty great stuff at Walmart too. Toys, clothes, and winter hats and gloves. This is Ave before school this morning. She was having a lot of fun with her "Beados"!
Carter had a really fun football game tonight. Both teams scored 3 times, and it was cool to watch. I didn't get any good pictures of him, but I got a few from the playground. This is Teague's new fox hat. It is super cute!
We always have to do the swings before the game.
That is her new hat! She picked it just for the big yellow poofball on the head!
You can't really tell, but Carterman lost a tooth at school on Friday. This was right before Facetime with Erica and Landon.
We always love to visit with them. Baby is almost ready to arrive! Landon gave us a birthday list! Lots of exciting stuff happening!

Sports related

Arie Grey, the head football coach at Butte High, gave Kyle this shirt for Avery. It's way too big right now, but she loves it. It says, "Butte High Girls Work Harder." She has worn it to bed a couple times in the last week.
This is an average day when Teague doesn't go to preschool. He has 500 different toys out that I get to organize for him. Luckily he's pretty cute, so I can't get too annoyed with him.
We left volleyball practice a little early last Wednesday so we could get to Carter's football game on time. We even had 15 minutes to play at the playground. These two had a blast. I was freezing! Luckily I did think to pack hats and gloves. Copper Mountain has to be the windiest spot in Butte.
The boys have trouble sitting still. Sometimes they like to have a little scrimmage on the sidelines!
Kyle isn't listed as a coach, but he helps with the practices when he can. The kids all really like to talk to him. I think this picture is super cute.
I love this picture of Teague running home from Emerson. I know I have a lot of these, but they make me laugh. He had a good day. He got to be in the homecoming parade, which of course I forgot my camera for, and then had some DQ.
They look so cute in their purple and white. It brought the football team some good luck - they won 51-0!
Kyle and the kiddos came to the game that night. Carter found his buddy Colby at the football game. They came over and said hi to me while I sold 50/50 tickets. It was a beautiful night! No wind luckily!
Someone named Teague was super excited that his Wolverine costume came in the mail! Kyle even got him some stuffed claws. He loves them!
Everytime I think it's safe to possibly get rid of some toys, these guys start playing with them again. They've had the best time with this track the last week.
We watched the longest game in MLB postseason history the other night - 6 and a half hours! Luckily it turned out the way we wanted it to. Go Giants (I love these smiles too)! They lost tonight, but hopefully they can finish the series tomorrow.

Quiet, Rainy Week

We had a very quiet week here. Not too many pictures were taken. A bath picture is always cute though. These guys still usually have lots of fun together. I like Teague's washcloth/ascot here. It's quite a dashing look.
I made some homemade peppermint oil. It will be ready to try out in a month. We had a ton of peppermint in the garden, and I read that peppermint oil is a wonderful spider repellent. Why not try it right?
Lando, Sean, and Erica were in for the weekend. Erica and Sean had a wedding to attend. It was a quick trip, but these two got to spend a ton of time together. I think they enjoyed it as usual!
Callie came in for a visit also. I'm glad she did - the kids had lots of fun with her (especially my Boo Bear)! Hopefully we can visit her in a couple weeks in Missoula. I felt bad because I was in Dillon most of the day Saturday. We all won - yay!
Teague was being a booger for pictures for pictures. He does that sometimes! He was quite hilarious though on Saturday night. He had Callie and Alex quite entertained!
A balloon in the shirt can make him smile like a crazy person I guess!
Mom, Terri, and I did a lovely puzzle (they did a lot more work than me). We enjoy puzzles on a rainy day, and this one was a very colorful 2000 piece beauty!
Carterman would like everyone to know that he has great hair. He truly believes he has the best hair in the family :) He's a little odd, but I love him!
A stressful 49ers win must have made this guy pass out.
Lastly, my girl getting ready for her Sunday bath. I just found out today that she is Student of the Month! Yay for Avers!

Butte-iful!

Our strawberries are tough! Teague and I went out and brought in 8 more of them the other day from our sad looking garden. The frost last week destroyed everything except for the eggplant, strawberries, rosemary, and cabbage.
He ate 7 of them and let me have one. What a guy!
Another run home while I drove next to them. This time they all ran!
They always stop and see these two dogs - Screwball and Knothead. They are some kind of terrier and are so cute and friendly!
I guess that jog wore a guy out. He fell asleep partially under the coffee table!
On Saturday we played Skyview at home. Their head coach has had breast cancer twice. We always do a "Pack the Place in Pink" game whenever they come to Butte. It was very successful, and we got to take some balloons home too. Here is a blurry picture of Teague tackling them.
He's a goofball!
These two were helping Papa bring some water to his classroom. It's always fun to ride on the trainer's carts.
Ave did a little dinosaur excavating the next morning.
I love the way they look in these goggles!
Ave has been teaching Teague the proper way to do a somersault.
Success!
It has been so gorgeous this September (minus the one day of snow). Teague decided it was a lovely day to make some mud pies.
Ave got in on the action also.
Carter was busy pretending to tranquilize some dinosaurs.
Two silly smiles!
Ave cooled off by dipping her head in the sprinkler. I love the water drop hanging off her nose!
Teague stole some of Avery's Barbie makeup she had brought over. His clumpy eyebrows look terrific!
Ave's cooking masterpiece.
Doesn't it look appetizing?
Carter has been into the VTech dinos again. He got a new one the other day - McRoar the Gigantosaurus. I have a feeling they will be on his Christmas list!
Lastly, Kyle's 34th birthday was on Tuesday. I was in Great Falls, Carter had football, and Ave had dance unfortunately. He picked some chicken curry wraps for dinner last night, and we had cake after the kids had baths. Happy Belated Birthday to this great Dad!
