Abb and Jord had prom on Wednesday. They both looked gorgeous and both stopped by to say hi to the kids (Laney wanted to be in the picture too). Here's the lovely Jordan!
Teague asked me to take a picture of him, Uncle Kyle, and his villains! It turned out very cute. He loves his Uncle.
Abbey looking beautiful also! They had a fun time!
Time for egg dying and a not quite smile!
My girl always has fun dying eggs. She, Grandma, and Jordan are very creative.
Carter had a really good time this year too. He was very careful!
Yay! Erica and Landon were here! Sean had to work, but they'll all be back to visit in about a month. We waited until Friday so we could all dye eggs together.
Papa and Lando were both very happy. They have always been buddies!
Teague painted two eggs orange and dyed two eggs orange!
The finished products! We had some really cool stickers, hats, and some very shiny paint. A good crop this year!
On Saturday we went to Stodden for a couple softball games and gave Mom a chance to get something done without four kids in the house. It was beautiful, the Bulldogs won, and we had a good time!
These guys were so happy to be at a park again!
3 kiddos on the slide!
I did not get a good picture of their Easter baskets, but they enjoyed them. They each got some pajamas, a summer outfit, water shoes, candy, and some Super Hero Squad stuff (like these great books)!
Teague got Ultimate Venom! He was very excited. Carter got Ghost Rider, and Avery got Gambit.
Time to see head to Papa and Grandma's house. Teague really wanted to crack open the mini M&Ms as soon as he spotted them.
Papa and Grandma got them some super fun stuff: candy, cool Super Hero eggs, Puma shirts, toys...just lots of cool things. They are lucky kids!
Carter with my Ipod in his pocket. He's been getting into music lately, which I love!
Jordan brought over some stuff from their family for the kids. Terri, Abb, and Jord always find cool stuff. They got the cutest stuffed super heroes, Avenger chalk, and lots of bubbles. What spoiled children!
These are four cute kids! They all looked so good (Lando changed after lunch) on Easter and got along really well too!
Time for the egg hunt. Luckily it was a lovely day! A little breezy but so nice.
Two of the hunters. We had a good time as usual hiding them four or five times for eachother (adults and kids switch off).
Handsome fellas right here and always so glad to see eachother.
Teague in a tree, what could be cuter?
Austin and Nicole came over too. Austin had a great time hunting eggs, and Nicole made me laugh a lot. A good time was had by all!
Nancy and Frank brought Liam over too. He loved being outside and thought the playhouse was really cool. He's such a good little boy!
We were so happy Callie got to come over. We had the best time together. I pretty much laughed all day! She's one of my favorite people and the kids love her too!
We tried a family picture - as usual, there are a few funny things (Teague's tongue and Carter's belly!). It also looks like I'm choking Teague, but I was trying to tickle his neck so he'd smile!
Lando wanted to get in there too. All in all, we had a wonderful holiday and were glad to spend it with lots of family!

My Carterman is 7!
My big boy turned 7 on Friday...which I can't believe. Time truly goes to fast. He decided on Wednesday that he wanted a pasty for his birthday dinner. I made him help me with the dough. He did a great job!
Avery was learning about birds at daycare on Thursday. She made this beautiful headband.
We are getting some sort of spring like weather. It's still super windy though, and the wind is cold. These guys don't care though. They just want to be outside. This is a cute picture!
He had a wonderful Friday at school. He loved his class singing to him. We brought individually decorated sugar cookies of course. Carter asked his friends all their favorite colors - he's such a nice boy. He opened the presents from us the first night.
Just a handsome blue eyed brother watching the proceedings.
Carter has been asking for a microscope for awhile now. We got this one from Amazon, and he was so excited! He is always the best guy when opening presents. He loves everything!
Mom got some cupcakes from a new bakery here on Friday. They were delicious!
Kyle the science guy had a good time with the microscope too. I'm glad he knew what he was doing.
Ave on her tiptoes with her brother. She loved the microscope also!
My little scientist :) Grandma Burgman got him some cool prepared slides too. We checked out brain and blood cells earlier today.
He was getting dressed on Saturday when his presents from Grandma and Grandpa Barsness arrived (hence the underwear). He loved this Avengers helicarrier. We filled it up with Super Heroes right away! He loved his prism too!
Party time! I wish this wasn't blurry. He invited some friends from school, and 5 little boys showed up. Here are a few of them: Nathan, Colby, Carter, and Sam. They all had the best time.
Jordan loves little Myla, and she's such a good baby. This is a cute picture of both of them.
Avers at the party. Her shirt was funny. It had a sparkly camera that said "Oh Snap"!
Madisyn and her friend had Avery helping if the little puck thing got stuck in the middle.
Iron Man cake - pretty cool!
Look at all those partyers. This is sadly the only picture with Connor and Austin in it. They were too fast for me on the jumping stuff.
We had a lot of friends and family there. It was a great time! You can see Jamie, Liam, Nancy, and Nicole in the background.
A view of the other side of the table.
Teague and Liam, who is darling, really loved the cake. They were cute together. They were talking about chocolate and vanilla before we brought it over.
Most kids still wanted to jump while Carter opened presents. More people wandered over after a bit. He loved everything - clothes, toys, movies, everything.
Abb, Teague, and Jord. They always take a nice picture together.
I just love this guy. I wanted one close-up. He looks like such a little man! He had the best day, and we just want to say thank you to everyone. We are very aware that we have awesome families and are very lucky!
Today was beautiful when the wind wasn't blowing. We went down to C Street for a bit with Carter's new stomp rocket. It was a good time.
Ave's turn!
Carterman enjoyed it too!
After lunch we went to Clark's Park. I made them wear hats because the wind was getting worse. There is all three little monkeys on the tire swing.
That speck in the sky was a cool kite. This guy had it way up in the air the whole time we were there. Very impressive! We also went to Captain America: The Winter Soldier later on. It was awesome - maybe my favorite Marvel movie so far. All in all, we had the a wonderful week. Thanks again everyone.

Our first real injury...
My mom ordered Ave an Easter dress (that Avery picked out) and the boys some super soft shirts. They had to try them on as soon as they got here of course. My handsome boys looked great!
Not sure what pose Teague is doing here and above! Avery's dress has a belt, but Dad had to poke a hole about 3 inches in for her. My girl is just tiny!
Teague the booger would not let me move the other night. He told me I was his most comfy chair. He's so cute...I don't mind a snuggle.
I have always told people Avery will have to learn about hair and makeup from her Aunts or cousins. It's not my thing. I was quite proud of this braid though - I did it! Her hair is finally getting long!
Carter had two playdates this week! He had Nathan and Sam over on Wednesday (this is very washed out). They had a huge gun fight, played hide and seek, and ate some cookies. It was a lot of fun. They were both so nice to Teague and Avery too.
They were all so good. Nathan told his Mom when he got home that he needs to come to our house every month!
Warning: graphic picture! After we dropped off the boys, Carter and Avery wanted to hit a golf ball back and forth in the front yard with my brother's old clubs. They have done this before, so I stupidly let them. This time was not so good though...Ave put the ball down for Carter, and it started to roll. She went to put it back, but Carter had already swung. There was a lot of blood, screaming, and a trip to the hospital for 3 stitches. This was while we were waiting for it to numb up. My girl is super tough though. The doctor and nurse were so impressed by her keeping still and not crying.
My girl afterwards. She was pretty happy she got to pick dinner.
She knew Carter felt terrible. My mom said he cried the whole time we were gone. Ave brought him a sucker from the hospital, gave him some bunny ears, and all was well. It could have been so much worse. She'll heal up just fine.
Thursday was very sunny but still a little brisk. We had a fun morning getting some of the summer stuff out - chalk and bubbles.
This boy kept closing his eyes when he smiled. He's pretty silly.
He said he was making a "rock paw print". It had a lot of paws!
They are pretty cute. We are supposed to have a couple nice warm days this week. I can't wait to be outside more!
It's hard to see, but she had a nice tree, lake, swan, sun, and cloud drawn here.
Then we played some hopscotch! This is a nice action photo of her in her too-short pajamas. She recently got 2 pairs that are long enough, but she has to roll the waist which she hates. She'll be getting some more for Easter...the Easter Bunny told me. Carter played outside at his friend Colby's house after school. They played baseball and had so much fun. He's a little social butterfly!
This was on Friday when we changed her bandaid. Her cut is still pretty swollen in this picture, but the stitches look great. It hasn't bothered her one bit either. I think she kind of likes having 5 days with no bath! I should have taken another picture today. She skipped the black eye party mostly. Now it's yellow, pink, green, and purple. Very pretty!
Ave and Daddy. She was being all lovey with him the other day.
