Carter had his Christmas program on Tuesday. He was looking good! Grandma and Papa Burgman bought him a new tie, and he was very excited to wear it!
He sang 3 songs and got to play the jingle bells. He made sure he told Kyle and I multiple times, "When you are video taping me, make sure you get the jingle bell part." We did, and it was wonderful. He did a great job!
Afterwards we stopped by Front Street Market to get some presents for his teachers and the daycare teachers, and he got a candy squirt gun. He dumped out the candy and used the squirt gun to "clean" the truck. It was beautiful outside that day!
Twice this week he's come home with "Super Student" stickers. That's a very good thing! It means he was caught being good at school twice in one day. He's picking a good time of the year to make his Mom and Dad happy with him!
Thursday night was the daycare Christmas party at the Depot. It was a lot of fun this year! Not too crowded, lots of food, and happy kids! Teague enjoyed the cocktail pastys of course.
Carter is getting to be quite the adventurous guy. He asked us if it was okay if he went up and sang Christmas carols with some of the other kids. He marched right up there and joined in!
This guy...what a face!
Avers loves a good piece of ham anytime! We had a talk about Santa coming too, and she promised she wasn't going to cry this year (she said that she's 4 now and not scared).
Wow! It's a Christmas miracle. Teague and Avery finally like Santa as much as Carter always has!
Ave even talked to him and told him what she wanted (some Barbie Rv thing). I was quite happy with my kiddos that night!
Friday when Carter was done with school, we headed up to Sunburst. We watched Nate's boys' team beat Heart Butte yesterday. Ave had a blast hanging out with her cousin Kaden (Ave's about 9 months older).
She was wearing the cutest outfit from Grandma Diana. She let her wear it to the game because we all wanted to see her in it. It has a sweater/cape that is so pretty! I love this picture though. They have all been getting along very well! Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas - I know we all can't wait!

Holiday fun!
Mom and Dad had to go buy more lights for the outside of the house, and they also found this lovely Christmas pig! When Kyle stopped by for his dinner break he said he wasn't sure if it was an homage to him as a police officer or an insult! Mom laughed quite a bit about that one. She didn't think of it as anything but cute!
Teague found some reindeer antlers in his toy box. He has enjoyed being a reindeer (when he's not being Thor!)
Carter and Ave wanted to sleep on the floor in his room the other night. I'm not sure why...they looked really comfortable though!
Sugar cookie time! Terri, Mom, Kyle, me, and the kids made tons of them! Kyle made some awesome buttercream frosting for them too. It turned out really good. Miss Ave was by far the most helpful kid. She loved decorating them.
Carter decorated 4 cookies. He ate 3 of them but did manage to save one for his teacher! More on that in a second...
Thor and his rosy cheeks were right in the mix too. He had croup earlier in the week. He never had a fever luckily, but his cheeks were so red.
One of her masterpieces. She does a good job!
Kyle loves making cookies. We had to make sure we picked a day when he was off.
Okay, when I picked Carter up on Thursday he was talking to all his classmates about what they "liked on their cookies". He then told me that he told his class we were making cookies, and he would bring one for each of them. Kyle and I asked him why he told his class this. He said it was "almost Christmas, and he felt like it was nice"! How could we say no? He can be so sweet! We were making them anyway. So, there is an apple for his teacher, a candy cane for his friend Dallas, a blue candy cane for Acen, two footballs (freehand by Grandma) for Kolby and Colten, and many more lovely ones. Apparently they were a big hit! Kyle asked his teacher in the morning if it was okay before he brought them in. She said it was great. A lot of kids always say they are bringing stuff and never do, so she was surprised!
He still has a bit of a dry cough, and the doctor said tea with lots of honey is probably the best thing to do. Luckily he likes tea with honey a lot! He looks really cute drinking it with a straw too.
Avery made us a fabulous Christmas Festival in the kitchen the other day. She is standing by her "cracker stand". Then she poured us water, iced tea, and chocolate milk and had some string cheese out. Behind the table were toys and stuffed animals to buy also. She is so silly. She makes me laugh!
Another reindeer! One of Jord's old dance outfits I think.
I love her Holiday countdown. I might have already posted this. She added houses on the daycare days, moons for every night she crossed one off, and M's on "Monday/Dance Day" though. We are moving right along through there. Teague circled the 14th too - no idea why.
Dinosaur excavating time again. It is probably the messiest thing they can do, but they love it! I also like to hear Teague say excavating!
Pasty making time. He had flour all over his hair and eyebrows!
She is actually getting pretty good at making pastys!
Carter just really likes to eat them! These two like to "help"!
Lastly Thor made me buy a watermelon last time we were at the store. I cut it in quarters, and he stole one before I could cut it again. He ate the whole thing too!

Freezing!
This was last Sunday night when they were saying Goodbye to Landon. They miss him already! Carter can't wait to see him again around Christmas!
We went to Frozen last Sunday also - thanks Grandma Diana and Grandma Patsy! We all loved it! Avery is quite taken with it though. We got a Frozen coloring book and Frozen read-along with a CD book at Hastings. She listened to it 4 times in a row!
I can't say enough how much this boy loves his Thor costume. He obviously slept like this the other night as you can tell by the footie pajamas sticking out of the bottom. He kills me - he does this crazy deep voice whenever he's wearing it!
New boots! Since it is freezing cold here (-15) as I type, we knew it was time for some new footwear. They think they are pretty cool in them. I just noticed Kyle's face in the background - oops!
Oh look, it's Thor again. He's having a nice tea party with his fellow Asgardian Avery. Thor's from a planet called Asgard, for those who don't live with a 3 and a 6 year old boy.
Some stuffed animals came to the party too!
Later on that day, it was time to surf! They are very busy and imaginative. I'd rather have them be silly and make a mess than stare at the TV all day.
Someone lost his other front tooth at school on Friday! It fell right out during reading, and he had to go to the office and get an envelope for it.
He stayed at Papa and Grandma's that night. Luckily the tooth fairy found him there. She brought him some money and some floss!
They wanted to come outside with me and Papa and brave the cold on Saturday. We put up the lights because the sun was out. It was a balmy 1 degree. Grandma had got these for Carter for Christmas, but she decided he needed them if he was heading out. He loved them! He thought he looked like Hawkeye (a fellow Avenger Superhero)!
Ave got some pink ones! Her favorite part was the thumb holes :)
Our little helpers!
Carter did a good job helping. He would hand Papa the staple gun if he was on the bigger ladder.
After playing in the cold, Mr. Piggy had a chocolate chip pancake that he dumped all the extra blueberries on. Then he shoved his face in it and ate it!
We tried to get a Christmas card picture today - Teague looks crazy!
Teague looks like a demon! I seriously can't look at this picture without dying laughing!
This is the winner. It's not great, but it will do! I know it's next to impossible to get all three smiling and looking at the camera. Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season!

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!
First, just a random bath picture. These two love a good bath, especially when making a tower. They are kind of cute!
Avery and Teague had the LifeTouch picture people come to their daycare this year! Carter told them how to do a nice smile. So as you can see they were all dressed up. I tried to get them to show me how they smiled.
There's my handsome boy! He really is so damn cute!
I can't wait to see their pictures. I bet they are hilarious!
It has been so nice here! I think we are supposed to be -13 this week, so I'm glad we got out and enjoyed it when we could.
We had a little soccer game. These guys were the Purple Dragons. Carter picked their pose.
We were the yellow giants. Ave picked our pose! We totally won.
Then she made lots of food for me. This was called Indian casserole I believe.
Abb and Jord had the Coronation dance on the day before Thanksgiving. They both looked gorgeous.Terri went to take pictures and Ave went with her.
How cute! They looked beautiful, and Ave loved being there.
Landon, Erica, and Sean arrived Wednesday night, and we were so happy to see them. These four had a blast together. They all love when Papa reads the Grouchy Lady Bug in a very silly way!
Thanksgiving time! Yum! We had delicious food and all the kids looked so good in their fancy clothes.
3 handsome fellows, 3 kind of silly faces!
This poor girl passed out. Papa took Carter, Avery, and Landon on a hike to get them out of the house while we finished cleaning and cooking.
Not our best family picture, but it will do. Kyle had to work obviously, but he did manage to get here for some dinner.
My girl looked so pretty - even with "nap" hair. She still fits in her dress she wore 2 Christmases ago luckily!
What a cheeseball!
2 kids playing with their buddy Jordan.
The day after Thanksgiving we decided to get out the Christmas decorations. Christmas is just so fun for little kids. Carter put the star on. That is always his favorite part of the decorating!
They were all pretty good helpers.
Just a couple decorating pictures.
My girl put all her ornaments together!
Teague moved Bumble around 6 times. He liked him on the roof of the house ornament the best!
Lastly, this boy liked pumpkin pie! He woke up and chowed down!
